Today, on our 2016 Chrysler Town and Country, we're gonna be taking a look at, we're gonna show you how to install the Titan chain cable snow tire chains. We will be installing these on tire 225 65 17.This is what our chains look like when they're installed. They're gonna be a ladder pattern design, low carbon steel rollers over steel cables, that are gonna provide adequate traction on light snow and ice.They're gonna be SAE Class S rated for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, that are also gonna provide a much smoother ride that your standard chains.We're gonna have tabs that are gonna lock into our eyelet to secure our chain to our tire, which are gonna make these chains very easy to install.They're gonna have a 30 mile per hour speed rating, come in a quantity of two, and come with a nice case for easy storage.Now, I've installed these on the front tires of the vehicle because it's a front wheel drive. If you'd like to pick up an extra set, just use the same part number.Now that we've gone over of the features, let's show you how to get it installed. When you begin, by laying out our chain, make sure we don't have any kinks or knots or any breaks in our line.Next, we wanna make sure that these tabs here are facing up and are at the front of the tire.We're gonna pick up from the opposite side, we're gonna drap it over our tire, just like that. One thing I forgot to mention, a good idea to turn your tire out.We're gonna take these tabs, we're gonna put them through our eyebolt. more

Our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country here is equipped with 225 65 17 tires. If your van has a different tire size on it, or different sized wheels, you may want to consult on our website to find the appropriate tire chains for it. These SAE class S rated chains are designed for vehicles with a low wheel well clearance and vehicles that have low prifle tires, such as this one. These chains have a maximum speed rating of thirty miles an hour. One nice feature about these Titan chains here is there are now cams to adjust, and if you're driving in reverse or if you're driving over rough terrain they won't come undone, so you don't have to keep constantly adjusting tension on the cams. The chains ship in this nice plastic storage container here, this is reusable, so it's very easy to store your chains when you're not using them in a nice compact box that stores up and out of the way inside your vehicle. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the Titan chains, we'll go ahead and show you how to install them. With our chain laid down on the floor here, you can see what the ladder pattern. It looks just like the steps on a ladder going up all the way across the chain. You see we have a built in tensioning device here, on the outside of the tire chain. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2012 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to show you the glacier cable snow tire chains. Part number PW1038. Today we're working with tire size of P235/60/R16. This is what the snow chains look like when they're installed on our tire. First off this is constructed of a low carbon, steel cable all the way around and also on the crossbars. One thing to note about these snow chains is that they're designed for on road use only. The crossbars have these rollers on there that are actually sitting on top of springs that sits on top of the cables. This allow to move around on the tire as needed yet dig into the ice and snow at the same time. These are very low clearance tire chains, so these are good for class S applications. more

All right today on this 2014 Chrysler Town and Country we're going to show you the glacier square link snow tire chains, part #PWPLC1142. For reference today, we're working with a tire size P22565R17. This is what the chains look like on typical installation on our Town and Country. Take a look at the cross bar of the chain here and you'll notice this is a square link design. You have square edges all the way around the construction of the link. That'll give you good grip in the ice snow. more

It's always a good idea to do a dry-fit on your snow chains before you actually need them like we're doing here.
