What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Backbone roof rack system. Well, for our Backbone system, it is gonna give us two different options. We can do one, which is just putting the Vortex Aero cross bars up on top here. But also, if you are a platform-style fan, you can get a Pioneer platform rack up on top of these as well. And the really good thing about this is it really gives you more bar space. more

Hey everybody, how's the going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack SG roof rack for rain gutters here on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So this is what our roof rack is gonna look like installed on our vehicle here. Now these crossbars have a black powder coded finish which is gonna help protect them from rest and corrosion over time. And if you ask me, you can't really go wrong with black in regards to the roof of your vehicle here, it just looks good no matter what color you have. So these are a great looking option and not only do they look great, they're gonna hold up well and look new over time due to that durable protection. So this kit does come what's known as arrow shaped crossbar, so there's all different kinds of crossbar types on the market. more

Carla: Hey everyone. Carla here with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack gutter mount Aero Vortex bar roof rack system on our 2028 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. So this is a really good option for a roof rack if, for example, you already have Vortex bars from another vehicle that happened to match the same length that you need on the Jeep, and you want to adjust them to be able to use on your hard top on your Jeep. We have our gutter mount feet, our adapter kit to be able to use those bars, and it's a very quiet aerodynamic roof rack system that will allow you to carry a kayak or maybe a couple paddleboards or surfboards. So it's a good option for that.So right here, we can take a closer look at our gutter mount attachment. more

Carla: Hey everyone, Carla here, with etrailer.com.Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack sports gutter mount roof rack on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. If you're looking for a more factory, or OEM look for a roof rack option, this is going to be definitely the way to go.As you can see, our bars are custom to the width of our roof, or in this case, the hard top gutters. They're not going to protrude out. There's no overhang to worry about adjusting, or anything like that.As far as installation goes, it's quite simple. It may take a little bit of time, but it's nothing difficult, so I highly recommend this roof rack if you need to find a solution to carry your paddle boards, or kayaks, or something like that.All right, so as we take a closer look at our bars right here, you do have the option to use t-track mounted accessories. Keep in mind that, for you to put the t-bolt on here, which I have one to show you, it's not going to go on without removing our leg first. more

This roof rack right here, if you're going for more of a rugged look, this is definitely the way to go with the round bars. A lot of customers are used to that look and it looks pretty cool on a Jeep. Let's go ahead and take a closer look at it.One thing I want to point out, as per the instructions, you do want to install both bars on the non-removable portion of your top. As you can see, this right here divides the front portion that is removable. more

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars with the Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs. These crossbars also do come in silver.Having this BackBone system installed is going to help increase the weight that you can carry on the hard top of your Jeep. Having three crossbars as compared to the normal two bar set, is going to allow you to carry more accessories, and it's gonna help evenly distribute the weight across the BackBone system.What's really cool about this BackBone system installed, is that we don't have to remove our crossbars if we want to take the hard top off our Jeep. You can remove it as you normally do. The elliptical shape of our Vortex Aero bars is gonna help cut down on wind noise and drag while we're traveling.We have our Quick Mount Legs which are tightened down onto our crossbars, and those attach to our foot kit. This locking system is a very nice security feature, so that no one can remove your roof rack without the key. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack with the backbone mounting system, part number JA8213.There's a couple of different components to this kit, first we have the backbone support system which is installed on the inside of our hardtop. Right here we're gonna have our leg kit which is what mounts our Pioneer rack to our backbone system and then we have the Pioneer rack itself. With our backbone system installed this is going to increase the workload that your hardtop can handle by a significant amount. There is some drilling involved while this is being installed so you do want to keep that in mind. When it comes up here we're gonna see that with all these supports combined we're gonna be able to carry a much heavier load on top of our hardtop. The weight capacity for our backbone system is 264 pounds. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be test-fitting the Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack System. And this is going to consist of part numbers Y00410, this is going to be the 66" crossbars, and part number Y00101, and these are going to be the rain gutter towers that attach to your Jeep. The RoundBar Roof Rack System is a pretty decent roof rack system that can carry a wide variety of accessories, such as bike racks, cargo baskets, or cargo boxes on top of your Jeep, and freeing up space on the inside. While these bars are particularly sturdy, they are going to produce some noise while you drive. We do offer fairings that you can find on etrailer.com to help cut down that wind noise and drag as well.With the towers themselves, they simply clamp onto your existing rain gutters here and tighten down in place with these knobs here. At the ends, we do have this plastic knock out that can be taken out and replaced with the Yakima SKS Lock Cores so you can secure this to your roof but also make it keyed alike with the accessories you're hauling as well. more

Rhino-Rack Backbone Roof Rack Mounting System Installation - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Speaker 1: Today, on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be installing the Rhino Rack Backbone roof rack mounting system, part number RRRJKB1. Basically, what the Backbone system does is it reinforces the structure of your Jeep's hardtop to allow you carry more weight on your roof without interfering with the removal of your freedom panels. To do this, it has internal brackets installed around the window frames to bear the weight.It has six platforms, which can be used to mount up to three Rhino Rack heavy duty or Vortex Aero Crossbars, as well as the fit kits for them, which are sold separately. They have a black powder coat finish to give them a long life in the elements. It compliments the look of your vehicle, as well. All the mounting hardware required is included with this kit. more

Rhino Rack Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Rack. This is 58 by 47 inches, and the weight capacity for it all depends on your vehicle. So make sure that you check your vehicles instructions, and then subtract the weight of the carrier. Part number for this is RR42115BF. Now we already have three of our four mounts in place and secured down, we're gonna show you our back passenger side here. Just gonna set all our pieces up top, and I'll step up here so we'll start by loosening up this bracket it at the top and getting that plastic bracket to loosen up from it. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Traverse Roof Rail System. If you look up here, we do have it mounted into the gutter. This is the gutter style raised roof rack. This is going to be part number THLB58 and then the foot pack and pedestal is going to be TH300. We'll show you how it all goes together, how it looks and fits once it's complete. Again this is going to be THLB58 and this is going to be TH300. We already have one of them in place here on the end. more
