Thule Roof Rack Review - 2008 Jeep Liberty- Video

Today on our 2008 Jeep Liberty we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule Roof Rack System consisting of the Thule Aero Blade Crossbars and Thule Rapid Crossroads Foot Pack, part numbers THARB53 and TH450R. Crossbars are also available in black, part number THARB53B. Thule Roof Rack System is great for carrying roof mounted items like your kayak carriers and bike racks on your roof. Our crossbar has an aerodynamic shape to reduce wind noise and drag, and a removable weather strip for channel mounted accessories. Foot pack has its own removable end cap with included tool that easily inserts in the end and snaps into place. Lock cores can be added to prevent theft and tampering. Food pads include a rubber coating to prevent scratches on any part of your vehicle that it touches. This roof rack system capacity is 165 pounds, however you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to check if the roof can withstand that much weight. more

Today on our 2008 Jeep Liberty we'll be taking a look at and showing you how install the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of part numbers RRVA137B-2, that's going to be our Rhino Rack Vortex Crossbars. These are also available in silver, part number RRVA137S-2. And part number RRSX001, that's going to be our SX Series Legs for our crossbars. The Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System is going to be a raised roof rack to fit your vehicle accessories, whether those are bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo baskets, or ski and snowboard carriers. The aerodynamic shape of our crossbar is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag, and removing our end cap we can see our included whether strip that's easy to remove to accommodate channel mounted accessories. It can also be easily cut down. The foot pack is going to grip onto your raised rail and have rubber on any portion that will touch your vehicle to help prevent scratches or abrasions. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2005 Jeep Liberty- Video

Today on our 2005 Jeep Liberty we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack System. This is going to be your Thule Aeroblades with the crossroads foot packs. This is going to be part number THARB53, and foot pack will be TH450R. We'll show you how that's all put in place, as you can see the other one's already up there, so we'll show you how to put it up there as well. Flip it over, remove the cap off the end by swiveling out, pressing in the little tab there, and pulling out. Next take your foot pack, remove the end cap with the tool built into it. Undo the strap, make sure it's loose, and slide it inside the T-tread. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Jeep Liberty- Video

Today on our 2008 Jeep Liberty well be test fitting the Thule Crossroads Roof Rack System part numbers CHLB58 and CH450. Well begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. This vehicle is equipped with raised side rails so well make sure that the distance between the connection point of the raised side rail and the roof and the first part of our foot is equal on both sides. We also want to make sure the overhang of the load bar is equal on both sides as well. Once weve established this position we can pop off the end caps to bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the raised side rail. Well then hook them into the connection points and turn the black bolt to bring the straps up around each bar. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video

Today, on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Crossroads Roof Rack System, using part numbers th450 and thlb58. Now, we've already gone ahead and pre-assembled our crossbars according to the instructions, so we're ready to fit it to the vehicle. We'll place our front crossbar on top of our factory raised side-rails. We'll then need to take a measurement. We'll measure from a fixed point on the side rails back to the crossbars. We'll do this on both sides of the vehicle, to ensure that the crossbar is perpendicular with the two-side rails. more

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video

Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system, using part numbers THARB53 and TH450R. Now to begin our test fit, we've already gone ahead and assembled the cross bars according to the instructions, so we'll start by placing the front cross bar on top of our factory-raised side rails. Now we'll want to make sure that the rubber-coated steel strap goes underneath the side rail, as this is how the foot attaches to it. We'll now take a measurement from a fixed location on the side rail. We'll do this on both sides of the vehicle to ensure that the cross bar is perpendicular with the side rail, making it easier to load your accessories. We can then take the included Allen tool found within each foot and tighten down the Allen bolt securing our cross bar to the vehicle. more
