Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Track Mount RLTP Legs Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Rhino-Rack track mounted RLTP legs that are designed for the tracks on your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. We have some Rhino-Rack tracks mounted to our camper shell here on our Silverado. And the reason that the owner of this truck picked these tracks is so that he could adjust his crossbars back and forth to accommodate for different accessories. When you have a larger truck like this, you do have to be versatile with where your roof rack base is. And having these legs is very helpful for that because you then keep that versatility, but you also keep that heavy duty weight capacity. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Today, on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be testing the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System using part numbers THLV58, TH480 and THKIT1532. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test by opening both front doors. We'll grab our front bar and place it onto the front par of our roof. To ensure that we have this bar on the correct spot, we need to measure 11 inches from the leading edge of the windshield to the closest point of our foot pack. We'll do this measurement on both sides of the vehicle to ensure that our feet are in line with each other. Then we can use the included tool and make our way back from passenger side to the driver side tightening our foot packs a little at a time until our clamps are secured against the roof line of our truck. Once we have both sides tight, we can slide the tool into the foot pack and close the cover. more
