Male: Today in our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Jetstream roof rack system, consisting of part numbers Y00425, these are the Yakima Jetstream crossbars, 50 inches long. Part number Y00146, and these are the baseline towers for the Yakima crossbars. And part number Y06127 and Y06153, these are the base clip fit kits for the vehicle and these are what clamp it onto your vehicle. We already have the front one installed, as you can see it has a nice aerodynamic shape to it. It has a carrying capacity of 220 pounds, although, you want to double check with your vehicles manufacture's instructions to make sure that your roof can withstand that kind of weight. Let's go ahead and show you how the rear one gets put on. We already have it partially assembled on our table here. Now when you first get the bars, you're actually going to see that there is a strip on the inside. more

Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of part numbers RRVA126B-2. These are the Vortex Aero Crossbars, forty-nine inches long in black. These also come in silver as part number RRVA126S-2. We also have RRRLKVA. These are the 2500 Series Legs for the Vortex Aero Crossbars, and part number DK183, and this is the custom fit kit for this particular vehicle, and this is how it clamps to your car. Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Roof Rack System, featuring part numbers Y00421, and these are the Yakima Core Bars, steel, 50 inches long. Also part number Y00146, and these are the baseline towers for the Yakima Cross Bars. And part number Y06127 and Y06153, and these are the base clip kits for the vehicle so they can clamp onto your vehicle. We already have the front one installed, and the bars themselves have a nice aerodynamic shape to them. Which is going to cut down wind noise and drag while you are driving. Now combine with the other bar, these have a little bit more of a heavy duty to them, and they have a weight capacity of 220 lbs. Now you do want to double check with your vehicle's manual, to double check that your roof can withstand that kind of weight. They are very nice and sleek looking, almost look factory installed on your vehicle. more

Alright, today on this 2011 Chevy Malibu we're going to do a test fit of a Rhino Rack Roof System. Now we already have a roof rack already assembled according to the instructions. So let's go ahead and open up the doors and put them into place. We're going to start off by opening up the front doors and doing the first crossbar. We'll put on the roofline first. And then when we get our measurements to put in the right spot. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Malibu

Alright today on this 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, were going to do a test fit of the Thule Load Bar System. We are going to be using the Thule square load bars, and we will be using a Traverse foot pack. We are going to start off with our load bars already preassembled per the instructions, and we will go ahead and open up the car doors, and set our first rail into place. Okay for the first crossbar in the right spot, we will go ahead and measure from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of the foot pack. Now always go by the instructions.
