Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Honda Odyssey- Video
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Swagman Skaha 2 bike rack, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Honda Odyssey. So the Swagman Skaha is a good rack if you have those heavy electric bikes, and with the Odyssey, I recommend getting the separate ramp and bridge attachment. There is a good amount of ground clearance with this vehicle, so it's hard to lift those bikes high up and into the hitch receiver or hitch-mounted bike rack, but the ramp and bridge actually works really well with this rack, and I would recommend checking that out if you have a heavy electric bike, but this also has some other features, like it tilts away and you have a front wheel mount, which makes it easier to load those bikes up. So the first feature we'll take a look at is that tilt away feature. There is this bright green lever here in the back. more

This is gonna be a hang-style bike rack that can handle up to four bikes so you can see they can sit just like that all along here. Now, this one's kind of unique because it's got tapered ends here. So not only is it gonna help with loading and unloading it's gonna help with kids bikes 'cause sometimes when it's spaced out like this on hang-style bike racks you have to get a bike adapter bar to make it work. So this is more in, so you won't have to get that. more

Now, this is gonna be a hang style bike rack, so you got the two arms here. The bike is gonna rest in these cradles. So, we don't recommend using carbon fire bikes on this 'cause that can wear and tear on that frame. And you don't want to damage anything like that. more
