Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we have the Saris SuperClamp EX 2 bike platform rack. We're taking a look at how it fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Spark. So for the Spark, you do have limited options for bike racks because of your inch and a quarter hitch receiver, but that's okay because the SuperClamp EX still has that 60 pound per bike weight capacity, plus a lot of versatility for bikes of different shapes and sizes because of the dual wheel mount clamps. The downside to this bike rack is it is gonna be a bit wobbly. Adding that to your inch and a quarter hitch receiver, you will experience a lot of movement on the road. more

So the XC2 is gonna be an affordable entry-level bike rack where you get the stability of a platform rack at a low price point. So you get your basic features like a 35-pound weight capacity. And for the Spark, this fits into your inch and a quarter hitch receiver. Because of that hitch receiver, your options for bike racks are kind of limited, but this is gonna be a solid choice when you're just getting into carrying around your bikes. more

MaxxTow MaxxHaul Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack Review - 2014 Chevrolet Spark- Video
Today on this 2014 Chevrolet Spark we're going to do a test fit of the Max Tow Hitch Bike Rack, part number MT70387. On our test vehicle here we have an inch and a quarter receiver hitch. Our bike rack does come with an adapter to go in a two inch receiver hitches; however, that's kind of removed right now so you can put it on our hitch here. Let's go ahead and put it in and line up the hitch pin holes. Install our bolt and to tighten it down we're going to need a three quarter inch socket. Small clip goes on the other side. We got got it in the stored position, let's go ahead and fold it. more
