Speaker 1: Today on our 1999 Ford Van we'll be having a look at our best trailer wiring options. We have two options here today. Over here we have the Tekonsha T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number 118344. Over here we have the CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number C55344.Now the biggest difference that we found between our two wiring harnesses, it comes down to what comes with your kit. Our CURT wiring harness, we have a few zip ties to secure up any of the loose wires underneath the vehicle, and some silicone to seal up the grommet that you have to pass the wiring through so you don't have to worry about any moisture getting inside the vehicle from any rain or snow or anything like that.Our Tekonsha wiring harness, on the other hand, it just comes with the wiring harness. If you're looking to seal up the grommet, you'd have to provide your own silicone sealant. more

Towready Taillight Converter Wiring Harness Installation - 1999 Ford Van- Video
Today on our 1999 Ford E450 van, we'll be installing the tow-ready, upgraded, circuit protected tail light converter, with 4-pull end, part number 119178. We're going to first need to take our test light here, and find out which wire does which function. Go ahead and ground our test light. Then we'll have someone turn on the running lights. We'll be tying them with this brown wire right here, with the white stripe on it. Go ahead and set up for our left or driver side blinker. more
