Today, we're going to be looking at four different wiring options here. And these three are all going to have a 4-Way flat type connector. This one is going to have a 7-Way type connector. Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2016 Ford Transit T-250. Here we're going to have the CURT four-pole wiring kit. Here we're going to have to Tekonsha four-pole wiring kit. Then finally on the end here we're going to have the Tekonsha seven-pole wiring kit.Now each one of our kits does have some slight differences. Let's go take a look at some of them. Each one of our kits is going to use a powered taillight converter to convert the signal from our taillights to have the proper signal going out to our trailer, and as well protect our vehicle if anything may happen on the trailer end and prevent any feedback.Now as you can see here on our CURT and our Tekonsha, we're going to have some wires coming out of our converter boxes. more

Installation of the Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2016 Ford Transit T250

Today on our 2016 Ford Transit T250, we're going to take a look at also show you how to install the Curt custom fit vehicle wiring harness with the 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number is C56249. To begin our installation, we're going to get to the taillight housings removed here. We've got two torque bit screws. They're going to take a T-25 on the top and bottom we want to remove. We'll pull rearward on the housings, there's a couple pressure clips up here on the front edge. If we rotate that, you'll see right here we're going to have our connector. more
