Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2015 Ford Mustang. Here on your right we're going to have the CURT, and here on your left we're going to have Tekonsha.One of the big differences between these two is going to be this box here. This box is the converter box. What they do is they protect your factory wiring from any backfeed if your trailer, whatever you're hauling, has any wiring issues. The difference between them is, if you notice how CURT, they come in both sides, they're going to be a surface mount technology, the wires are going to be connected onto a circuit board. Tekonsha is going to come in one end, do the same thing, connect on a circuit board. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ford Mustang- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Mustang, we're going to review and install the Two Ready T1 Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Trailer Connector, part number 118487. Now we'll go ahead and review and show you the operation of our 4-flat trailer connector. Our trailer connector gets stored inside down in the spare tire well. We'll simply take the 4-flat connector out, run it out over the threshold, staying away from the truck latches pinching it off in the latch, can't harm the wire. However, the weather stripping is thick enough that we can simply close the trunk on it. Then, we'll run the 4-flat connector down to our hitch or address. more
