On this 2010 Lexus RX 350, we're going to review and install the Curt Class 3 two-inch receiver hitch. Part number C13143. Right off the bat, you can see that it is a nice tight fit underneath the bottom edge of the bumper. It does have a nice reinforcement collar around the edge of it. The symmetricals looks the same on the front as it does on the back. This is our 2 inch opening right here. Underneath the receiver we have a loop for our safety chains. more

Today on our 2006 Lexus RX330 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt, custom fit, Class III trailer hitch receiver. This has the 2 inch by 2 inch opening, it's part number is 13530. Here's what our hitch looks like when we get it installed. As you can see it's a really nice custom fit hitch. It's going to follow right along with the underside of the rear fascia here and then it's going to step down, around, underneath our tailpipe there. Now that makes it really easy to get installed because now we don't have to worry about lowering our exhaust or anything like that. This is a class III hitch, so we have a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. more

Today on our 1999 Lexus LX 470 we'll be installing the hidden hitch class 3 receiver hitch part #87409. This is what the hitch looks like when it's install on our vehicle. It has a nice black powder-coat finish. It does hang down just a little bit underneath the bumper but not too bad. It allows you access to your 2" x 2" receiver tube and your tie down points and your 5/8ths pinhole and your J-style locking pin. It does re-use existing hardware and frame well nuts to install the hitch. There's no modifications needed to your vehicle to install the hitch and it does allow you to re-use your tie down locations and your tow hooks. I'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help choosing some accessories for your new hitch. more

Today on our 1999 Lexus LX470, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III with 2" receiver, part number 75095. Today on our 2014 Lexus RX350 we're going to be installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver, part number 75676. Now to begin our installation we're going to need to remove this lower appearance panel. Now there's several fasteners that we'll need to remove in order to take it down. We'll be using a 10mm socket on all of the bolts, as well as a larger flat head screwdriver to remove a couple fasteners over on the right hand side that are kind of like the push fasteners but they also thread on, but if you unthread them they will come back off. Now with all of our fasteners removed we can go ahead and pull our appearance panel down and set it aside for now. Now there will be a total of six mounting locations that we'll be using to secure our hitch to the vehicle. There will be three on each side. more

All right today on this 2010 Lexus RX 350, we're going to install part number 13541 from Curt. Okay our first step is to go ahead and remove the lower fascia. There'll be about 13 fasteners that we have to remove to lower the fascia. All right, next we'll go ahead and remove the adjusting hole plugs from the frame rails and we'll go ahead the existing toll loops as well. Now the toll loops will be reinstalled when the hitch is installed. All right, at this point, we can go ahead and install the hitch. more

From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 12-1/8 inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be about 5-1/2 inches. Next well go ahead and show you how it gets installed. The first thing you need to do is go ahead and remove this bracket for the exhaust and let it fall down a little bit out of the way and remove this tie down bracket. more

Today on this 2006 Lexus RX400h we are going to be installing part number 13530 from Curt. The first thing we need to do is remove the under body trim panel on the driver side of the vehicle to where we can remove the tie down hooks on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. We are going to be removing the four Phillips head screws along with the plastic rivets located in the bumper trim panel. We are also going to be removing the plastic rivet on the inside towards the spare tire. Now we are going to remove the tie down hooks on the passenger and driver side of the vehicle and set these aside because we will no longer be using this hardware. 00:44 more
