To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole, and thread in our anti-rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench. Now well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 10 1/2 inches of ground clearance. With the bike carrier in the folded position weve added about 11 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. Now well go ahead and pull the red knob at the base of the carrier to allow our carrier to tilt. more

Now our anti-rattle knob is 1/2 inch from the bumper. Kuat Sherpa Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Honda Odyssey- Video
Today on our 2013 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Kuat aluminum hitch mounted two bike carrier, part number S102. This is the Kuat Sherpa. Now to begin our test fit well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin holes, and install our hitch pin. After putting the lock on the other side of the pin our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Well now tighten the knob down here which will tighten up our anti-rattle device further securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. more

Today on our 2013 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Thule Vertex four bike carrier, part number TH9029. To begin our test fit well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 11 inches, and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is two inches. We can now go ahead and pull the hitch switch here at the bottom of the bike rack mast which will allow the mast to tilt down. more

Today on our 2013 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Thule Apex swing, four bike carrier, part number TH9027. Now to begin our test fit well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch making sure that our integrated locking hitch pin is pulled out. Well then allow our hitch pin to fall into place in the hitch pin hole. We can then move to the anti-rattle knob where well tighten the knob down securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2009 Honda Odyssey- Video
Today, we have with us a 2009 Honda Odyssey and we're going to be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post and Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier, part number TH934XTR. To mount this carrier to our vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin holes and then well feed in our anti-rattle bolt, and we'll use the 3/4-inch wrench to tighten it down. Once we've done that, we'll check for rear vehicle access. We'll remove the pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt it down. We'll open the hatch of our Odyssey and make sure we can still access our cargo area. more

Rhode Gear Highway Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2009 Honda Odyssey- Video
Today on our 2009 Honda Odyssey, we're going to be test fitting the Rhode Gear Highway 2 Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RG8015220. To mount our bike carrier to our vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin holes and we'll feed our anti-rattle bolt in and we'll tighten it down using a 3/4-inch wrench. Next, we're going to check for rear vehicle access. We'll remove the pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt it down to make sure we can still open the cargo area of our Odyssey. Now, we'll put the bike rack back up and go over some clearance measurements. more
