Today on our 2009 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen we will be installing the Draw Tite Sport Frame Class I 1-1-4" Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 24866. Here's what the hitch looks like once it's been installed. It tucks up fairly nicely underneath the bumper cover of our vehicle. You can see our safety chain loops are very easily accessible here, and you can even use the smallest diameter safety chains on there without any problem.
