Today on our 2011 Toyota Corolla we'll be test fitting the Glacier Cable Snow tire chains, part number PW1030. These are SAE class S tire chains. We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 195/65-15. This vehicle is front-wheel drive, so we will be installing the tire chains on the front set of tires. To begin our test fit we'll lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around the tire. We'll now drape the tire chains over the tire, making sure it is centered and the hooks are facing out so that we don't damage the outer wall of the tire. Now for today's demonstration, our vehicle is on a lift to give you more detailed shots of the connecting points of the tire chain. more
