Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at and showing you how to install these Pewag all square snow tire chains with cam tensioners on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. This is going to be a pretty large and aggressive chain. The first thing you want to do is get them laid out and make sure that nothing's tangled up. After that, we can go ahead and check the cross sections of the chain and these cross links have a smooth side down on the bottom and a more hooked end that's a bit more abrasive. We want that hooked end facing up, away from the tire. more

It's gonna be one of the easier chains to install. First thing you wanna do is lay it out and make sure nothing's tangled. Once you've done that, you can verify that everything's in the proper orientation. We have an opening here in the middle of the chain, that's where our tire's gonna sit, and then this coated cable is gonna be behind the tire. more

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Glacier Chain Twist Link Snow Tire Chain with Cam Tensioners on our 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500.I just think all in all, when it goes to ladders pattern style chains with cam tensioners, we have a lot of adjustments, so I really like that. Another thing that I like about it, it's not going to be the roughest ride, these aren't the most aggressive chains you can get, and that's just because they all are twisted right here. They're all made of a low carbon steel, so they are going to resist against rust and corrosion, and be extra strong, just so they wear away relatively evenly. I just like it to where I don't really have a whole lot of metal in front of my wheels. I really like these wheels and I like to keep them like that. more

If you've got a bunch of ice, maybe even just iced up mud and stuff like that, these are going to be able to dig in there and really get you the traction that you need. Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
What's going on, everybody, Adam here with etrailer today, we're going to be taking a look at the glacier cable snow tire chain on our 2017 Chevy Silverado, 2,500. What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. It's going to be probably one of the least aggressive of all the ladder pattern style chain. So if you have light duty snow or something needed to get out of, these are definitely what you want to go with because they're going to be nice and smooth, but also increase your traction, help you get unstuck. So we do have spring rollers here, are going to be made of a low carbon steel. And that what really is what makes it such a smooth ride, just because it's not that aggressive and it's going to help just roll over all that snow. more
