So adding a roof rack system to your Explorer is going to allow you to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you by taking advantage of space on top of your vehicle. This is gonna let you get accessories like a roof basket, kayak carriers, bike carriers, a wide variety of different items to help you with that outdoor activity. In general, Thule set up with these bars on the raised rails. It's super easy, it's just a matter of getting the measurement of your crossbar spread and the distance across. Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the best roof rack option for you on our 2020 Ford Explorer. Our best options today were chose because we have raised rails, now if you have a naked roof that's gonna change. We'll still have a lot of the same options, the only difference is they're gonna come with a fit kit too, so they can just grab onto your gutters. But something else to keep in mind, today we just have a standard roof, but if you have a moon roof on top of your explorer then that's gonna change your weight capacity, so definitely keep that in mind. So the three options are gonna be our Inno roof rack system, and then it's gonna be the Rhino roof rack system, and then finally the Yakima HD roof rack system. more
