Best 2008 Honda Odyssey Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today on our 2008 Honda Odyssey we'll be looking at our trailer wiring options. We have two wiring harnesses here today. Right here we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness, part number 118438. Right here we have the CURT t-connector vehicle wiring harness, part number C56161. Both of our wiring harnesses that we have here today feature the standard four-pole flat trailer connector. This will give you the required connection that all trailers have to give you the required running lights by law so you can safely tow a trailer. Our difference that we have between these two here today is our Tekonsha one has a dust cover built in. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Honda Odyssey- Video
Today on our 2008 Honda Odyssey we'll be installing the Tow Ready T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole flat connector, part number 118438. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear cargo door. Then we'll need to remove the rear threshold. To remove the rear threshold there are two tow hook fasteners that have to be screwed out first. Once we remove these fasteners we'll then use a flat bladed screwdriver or an interior trim panel tool to get underneath the threshold and pop the fasteners free. At the top and bottom of the threshold we'll go ahead and turn it over and see the fasteners that are underneath. Next on the driver's side we're going to go ahead and remove the spare tire cover and jack storage compartment door. more
