Hi there flex owners today on your 2009 Ford flex, we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options. For your flex, we have two custom wiring harnesses available on the left. We have our harness from Tekonsha and on the right we have our harness from Curt. Both of these harnesses are going to provide you with a four-pole flat connector at the back of the vehicle that you can plug into your trailer to get all of your necessary lighting. They're both going to be custom fit for your vehicle and plug in between your driver's side and passenger side tail light, assemblies. That's about where the similarity between these two harnesses ends.Let's go over the differences now. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Ford Flex- Video
Alright, today on this 2009 Ford Flex, were going to install part number 118472 from Tow-Ready. First well do is well go ahead and open the back hatch and remove the two taillights. When we unbolt the taillights, well go ahead and disconnect the wire harness. Push on this tab right here and take it apart. Alright, so well repeat the same process on the passenger side. Now you can go ahead and start installing the wire harness. more
