Speaker 1: Today on our 2010 Nissan Murano we're gonna be having a look at our best trailer wiring options. Here we have two different options here today. This is our Curt T connector. And then we have our Tekonsha T-1. First we're gonna point out the key differences between our wiring harnesses. As far as power output goes, we found the Tekonsha wiring harness to be the clear winner here because it does have a higher power output than the Curt.As far as construction quality goes we found the Tekonsha wiring harness to be the winner here because in our experience, we found these to be a little bit better built. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2010 Nissan Murano, we'll be taking a look at and installing the T1 vehicle wiring harness, with 4 pole, flat trailer connector, part number 118653. When you're going to use it, simply take it out, and lay it over the seal plate. Bring out the mount that you're going to need, and we'll be careful not to pinch our wire in our latch. Close it down, and now you're ready to tow. When you're done, just place your wires, cap them, and you're ready to go. To begin our installation, we're going to open up the back, hook this out of the way. We need to remove both of these side covers, remove the package tray. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Nissan Murano 118481- Video
Today on our 2010 Nissan Murano well be installing the Tow-Ready T1 Connector part number 118481. Our first step is to access the rear cargo area. Well need to remove the flooring panels and the rear threshold. Next, well remove the fasteners that are securing the quarter panels behind the taillight. With our quarter panels out of the way, well gaining access to the rear taillight wiring. Well locate the manufacturers plug, disconnect it. more
