Kuat Sherpa Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Fit- Video

Kuat Sherpa Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Fit

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit, we'll be test fitting the Kuat Sherpa platform-style aluminum 2-bike carrier, part number S102. We'll begin our test fit sliding the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, lining up our pin holes, inserting the pin through the pin holes, and securing with a lock on the other side. We then can turn the black T handle at the back of the shank to engage the anti-rattle device. Now that our Kuat Sherpa is secured to our Honda Fit, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. With the platform folded up, we have about11" of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of our Honda Fit is here at the rear bumper, about 2" away. more
