Best 2020 Mazda CX-5 Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Hi there Mazda owners, trailer 2020 CX-5, we're gonna be taking a look at the best wiring options. We've got our option for CURT here over on the left and on the right we have our option from Tekonsha. Now, when it comes to either of these two harnesses they're so similar to one another, it really doesn't make a huge difference on which one you we're to pick. Brand loyalty is probably gonna be the biggest factor in this one, but I'm gonna cover some differences first because there are a couple of things that might sway your choice on which one is the best. In my opinion, the Tekonsha does come out slightly better than the CURT and here's a couple of reasons why. The Tekonsha does have a smaller module box which fits better behind your paneling, it's just easier to hide it and I liked that it does have the tab here at the top, so if there's an open stud or if you have an extra self-tapping screw you could attach it with the tab up there on the top instead of just with the adhesive pad that comes included. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2020 Mazda CX-5- Video
Hi there, Mazda owners. Today, on your 2020 Mazda CX-5, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's four-pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness.And this is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. It is a four-pole flat trailer connector that is designed to live inside the vehicle. When you're ready to use it, it drapes out the back. What I like about this is that it protects your harness from the elements when it's not in use, and then when you're ready to use it, you can just pull it out. Some people seem to think that hanging it out over the back here is going to cause damage to the wiring, but the weatherstripping there does have plenty of space in it, to where it's not going to crush the wiring, and the weather strip actually kind of clamps it just enough to hold it in place, to keep it from sliding around. more

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Mazda CX-5 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness. So probably my favorite thing about this wiring is the fact that it's not going to be visible whenever you're not using it. And to be honest with you, I really like the look of these new CX-5s. And to me, just one less thing hanging down underneath of our SUV is definitely beneficial. And not to mention since it does live inside, when we aren't using it, it's going to be out of the weather and should last a lot longer.However, with that being said, let me show you how it does work whenever you do need to plug in. more
