Today on our 2005 Honda Odyssey we'll be looking at our trailer wiring options. We have two wiring harnesses here today. Right here we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness, part number 118438. Right here we have the CURT t-connector vehicle wiring harness, part number C56161. Both of our wiring harnesses that we have here today feature the standard four-pole flat trailer connector. This will give you the required connection that all trailers have to give you the required running lights by law so you can safely tow a trailer. Our difference that we have between these two here today is our Tekonsha one has a dust cover built in. more

Today on our 2005 Honda Odyssey, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install this Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number is C56161. Right now, here's what you're going to have in your wiring kit. Of course, just what we're after there. We're looking to have this 4-pole connector situated at the back of the vehicle so we can connect the trailer or cargo carrier, or what have you, to it. As you can see, that runs into our converter box. Now, this converter box is going to take signals from our vehicle, and it converts it into a usable signal for our trailer.
