Best 2008 Ford Edge Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today on this 2008 Ford Edge we'll be having a look at our best trailer wiring options. We have three wiring options here today. This one is the Tekonsha T-One, part number 118551. This one is the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness, part number HM11140495. This one here is the CURT T-Connect Wiring Harness, part number C56329.The first biggest difference that we found between our three wiring harnesses here today is in regards to power output. Our Tekonsha wiring harness here has a total of 7-1/2 amps of power output for our taillight and running light circuit and 4.2 amps worth of power output on each one of our turn signal and brake light circuits. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Ford Edge C56160- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford Edge, we'll be showing you how to install the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat connector, part number C56160. Already got the wiring harness layout here, with the yellow wires going towards the left for the left turn signal, and the green going to the right for the right turn signal. Go ahead and remove our taillight assemblies. There's two eight millimeter bolts right here. Grab the taillight assembly, pull it towards you, and it'll pop out. Just go ahead and undo these connectors, push on the push tab, pull. Undo all three connectors. more
