Part number is HM11141144.This is going to be a direct replacement for that knock out plug. We'll show you how to identify the wires that you need on the back to make sure it's going to work, but if it will and once it's installed, this is going to be an excellent solution. This is going to give you a seven pole round and also a four pole flat. Those are the most common wiring connectors you're going to find on trailers. There are five round, six rounds, and with that being said you can convert this seven pole into any one of those using an adaptor. more

Now the reason you're going to want this wiring harness over other options is because this gives us a 7-way here, which gives us the ability to tow a trailer with electric brakes, provided you have brake controller installed in your vehicle and it also gives us a 4-pole flat. So if we're towing just a small trailer and only need lighting functions, this will be a great way for us to be able to tow both trailers without needing any adapters. The most common connectors you see on trailers are either a 7-pole, like the hard top one, or a 4-pole, like our bottom.Another great feature about this, is that this gives us a very factory-like appearance on our Colorado. Matter of fact, this exact piece right here is actually used by several manufacturers during the manufacturing process on the vehicle.Our doors are spring-loaded and as you see, we have a nice rubber seal around them to help keep elements out of the inside of our connector, which could cause corrosion over time.
