Hi, everyone, it's Aiden here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Transfer V2 Single Bike Rack on our 2019 Toyota Highlander. And it's gonna be a platform-style rack that's gonna hold your bike down there at the back wheel with a little wheel strap and up here with a wheel hook. Now, what that means is you're gonna be able to carry a lot of different styles of bike because there's no frame contact here. So, our carbon frame bikes are gonna be good to go with this bike rack, as well as some of your e-bikes, sometimes those have alternative frames, or women's bikes, those will be good too because again, we're not relying on this top tube for any sort of securing this down to the bike rack. Now, I really like this too because the Kuat Transfer is super easy to use. more

So if you're looking for a very fancy platform, style bike rack this is one that really covers all the areas for me. And it is going to be one of the more premium options. So if you have a growing family or growing hobby, we are going to be able to add two bikes up onto this. So it's going to go from 60 pounds per bike to 40 pounds per bike, but we get four bikes on here. All you really need is a two inch hitch receiver. more

Now this is a great bike rack if you're looking for something that is compact and has a weight capacity for your heavy electric bikes and has all the nice premium features that makes the entire process easy to mount and dismount your bikes. Now, one of its features is that it can tilt away. And to do so, just hold on to the bike rack and step on that lever that allows the bike rack to tilt back so that you can open your rear door on your RAV4. As you can see, there's plenty of space between the door and the bike so that you can get in there, put stuff away in your trunk, grab your backpacks or your water, all without taking your bikes off. more

Hi, everybody. Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman E-SPEC on our 2019 Toyota Highlander. So, if you're looking for a bike rack to get those heavy bikes to and from your destination, the E-SPEC is gonna have 70 pounds per bikes so it's gonna be great for those electric bikes like you see here. It's not gonna be great for your fat tire bikes as we do have a limitation on wheel width. So, this is only going to accept up to three inches entire width and we are gonna have about 48 inches in wheelbase and what makes it possible is the cradles. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the CURT Premium Four-Bike Carrier on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. Now, right away as you can see, this is a hanging-style bike rack and what's nice about this, we have a dual-arm support system, that's always great 'cause we're gonna get a lot less play with our bikes going left and right across our frame compared to some of those single-arm models. Then if we look here, this nice tapered end is gonna be great for us if we have any kiddos' bikes we want to fit on here. A lot of times, those kid bikes, you have to buy a bike adapter bar that's gonna actually allow you to use this three point system, but this being so tapered in, gonna allow us to get our kids bikes on there, make it really easy without any extra adapters. When we take a look here too, these nice reflectors on the end are really nice especially like we have here, when we only have one bike, sometimes it's hard for people that are actually traveling behind us to see our bike rack especially with it being black, so these are gonna be quite nice especially at night, just to alert the other drivers where our bike rack is. And taking a look at the cradles here, we have a nice rubber stripping system here, all these simply do, hook under, our bike gets put in place, we hook around, and we just simply go around that knob. more

Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Swagman XC2 bike rack on our 2017 Toyota RAV4 Right away as you can see, this is a platform style rack. However, we do have a frame mounted contact point. So keep in mind this isn't gonna be good for any kind of carbon frame bikes. This frame mount is going to deteriorate those carbon frames and also at a 35 pound capacity, we need to make sure that we are not over exceeding that weight limit. So especially in those e-bikes, you know, some of those bigger bikes, keep in mind definitely be measuring your weight. Those e-bikes, take it off those batteries, might get you under, but definitely be careful with it. more

So if we are taking our 4Runner down either to the trails or to the park, what's gonna be nice about this bike rack, it's gonna allow us to fit up to one to four bikes on it. One thing to keep in mind, this is not suited for like a carbon frame bike. As you can see here, our anti-sway cradles actually mount directly to our frame, so some issues we might run into there. You know, our standard men's and women's bikes, they're gonna have the appropriate frame size. Now if we start talking about kiddos' bikes, those might not fit correctly on here, so you might need to look at a bike adapter bar but that's something we offer on our site. more

If you're looking for a higher end bike rack this is definitely going to cover a lot of the bases, it's gonna be able to accept a lot of different bikes and we are going to be able to pick a color. So we have matte black here, we also have metallic black or gunmetal gray. But also we can have eventually add onto this, so it's a two bike configuration now, but we can turn it into a three bike or a four bike rack. We're going to have a weight capacity of 60 pounds per bike, so if you have a lighter electric bike or a fat tire bike, we're going to be able to use those with this rack. more

Now, this is an awesome bike rack if you are looking for something that's compact, easy to use, and has all the nice premium features. Now, one of its features is that it can tilt away, and to do so there's a lever right over here you need to pull, and then it just glides down like that. And you'll want it in that position so that you can access your hatch. So you can see how there's space between our door and our bike, allowing to get into our trunk, maybe put stuff away, grab our bike helmets or our bags without having to take our bike off, which is pretty nice. Now, to lift it back into position you just lift it back into position like that and it snaps into place. more

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts monorail solo one on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. So this is going to be a great bike rack just to get one bike to and fro, but you can add on if you decide to maybe bring someone else with you or you got another bike you want. The nice thing about this is it's gonna be great for your carbon fiber bikes cause it has a wheel hook over here. It's also going to be great for your fat tire bikes and your e-bikes. If they're under 60 pounds, we can use them with this rack. And we are going to have a five inch maximum wheel width where your fat tire bikes, which pretty much any fat tire bike you can throw at this thing. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Toyota Prius- Video
Hi everyone it's Evangeline here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Swagman XE2 bike platform style rack here on our 2015 Toyota Prius. This is a great bike rack to have if you are looking for the bare necessities, you want a bike rack that will get your bikes to where you need them to be safely, securely, and it's a lightweight bike rack too. This bike rack does not tilt away so if you want to access your hatch you will have to remove your bike. Now the way our bike is mounted to this bike rack is by this frame mount. We have universal wheel hoops they are at the bottom and these can fit bike tire widths of up to three and a half inches. So if you want to dismount your bike what you need to do is first lift up on your frame mount, so press that button, lift up lets get to this bottom one right there and with that release you can then either tilt your bike away or what I like to do is just take off these mounts completely, and with them removed completely, then I can even lower my center mast and push that down so that I only need to lift it up just a little bit then I'm ready to go on a bike ride. more

Hello everyone. It's Evangeline from e-trailer. And today we are looking at our Inno tire hold two bike platform style rack here on our 2021 Toyota, Highlander. This is a great bike rack if you are looking for something that has a wheel mount as well as is compatible with your heavy electric bikes, your carbon frame bikes, or even your fat tire bikes.One of its features is that you can tilt it away and to do so you need to pull this lever over here and then it drops down. And from here you can see if you can access your trunk. So, it comes close but there's definitely clearance between our door and our bike and this allows us to get into our trunk to put away groceries or grab things for your bike ride like your helmet or your water without having to worry about taking off the bike completely or even the bike rack.To lift it back up all you need to do is lift it back up and then it snaps into place. more
