Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Lexus RX 350 we're gonna take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw-Tite custom fit class three trailer hitch receiver, its part number is 75676.Here's what your hitch is gonna look like installed, as you can see we're really not changing the cosmetics of the rear of the vehicle that much at all. We're just gonna have the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and the reinforcement collar there that'll be really visible behind the vehicle, the rest of the cross tube remains completely hidden behind the rear fascia so we can maintain that nice look of the RX 350. Another thing I like about the appearance of the hitch is that it doesn't really stick way out here on the back of the vehicle, it's nice, close to the rear of the vehicle, doesn't hang out past the rear edge of the bumper, never have to worry about running into it or anything like that.This is a class three hitch, that's gonna make it extremely versatile whether it's bike racks, cargo carriers, ball mounts that you need, just about any type of hitch accessory they make probably comes in a class three variety. See there are two holes in the hitch, we always want to use the larger one, the one that's gonna be closer to the front of the vehicle. That's five-eighths of an inch in diameter and there's gonna be a good amount of room around there for whatever style pin or maybe locking hitch pin or even anti-rattle device that you'd want to use. The rear hole you're only gonna use that with the J pin stabilization system which is just one form of anti-rattle device.Now when you are towing a trailer we do have safety chain connection points here. more

Best 2015 Lexus RX 350 Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2015 Lexus RX350. Here we have the CURT, part number C13143. Here we have the Draw-Tite, part number 75676. When these are both installed, they're both going to be hidden up underneath the bumper, and all you're going to see is the receiver tube and the safety chain loops on both our CURT and the Draw-Tite. Now the main difference between these two is going to be the weight capacity. The CURT here has a 600 pound tongue weight and a 4,000 pound trailer weight, whereas the Draw-Tite is going to have a 400 pound tongue weight and a 4,000 pound trailer weight. Now when using a weight distribution system, the CURT is going to still retain that 600 pound tongue weight, but the towing capacity is going to be bumped up to 5,000. more

Today in our 2015 Lexus Rx350 we'll be installing the CURT 2 inch receiver tubage part number C13143. Here's what out hitch will look like once installed. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist with selecting accessories for your new hitch. In the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumpers is 5 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 16 inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. To be able to install, we'll first need to remove the lower body panel. There are multiple fasteners that'll need to be removed in order to get it down and out from underneath the vehicle. more
