Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit of the Saris Freedom Super Clamp. This is going to be your platform style 2 bike rack. Does come with an 1 1/4 shank as well as a 2 inch adapter for your class 3 hitches. This is going to be part number SA4025. We'll go ahead and get it fitted onto our Traverse that we have here today. First thing you got to want to do is insert your shank into your receiver and lineup your pinholes. more

Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima HoldUp. This is going to be the platform-style 2-bike rack. Comes with a 2" shank for your 2" hitches only, and it's going to be part number Y02443. Let's go ahead and get it fitted onto our Traverse that we have here today. First tip is to insert the shank into the receiver and then line up your pinholes. Once you have your pinholes lined up, remove the lock from your anti-rattle bolt and insert it. Thread it in as far as you can by hand. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Series Crew Cab Pick Up, we're going to be test fitting the Sport Rack 3 Bike Rack with Tilt-Away Feature. That's Part Number SR2403 this is designed for 1 and a quarter as well as 2 inch hitches and we have a 2 inch hitch here today. We're going to start by feeding the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hitch, and aligning our pin holes. Once the pin holes are aligned we're going to thread in our anti-rattle bolt by hand. Once that's as tight as it can go by hand you're going to finish tightening with your socket wrench. Now that, that's tight we're going to give it a shake test to ensure that it's secure within the hitch, which it is. We're going to place our clip on the other side of that anti-rattle bolt. more

Once we've got that hand tightened we can go ahead and take our wrench and tighten that down the rest of the way. Once we get those lined up we can insert our anti-rattle bolt and we can go ahead and finish tightening that with our wrench. This is going to prevent any excess movement right here or any wobble. This is going to be a platform style rack that's designed for two inch hitches. That's part number SA4414B. We're going to start by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hitch until the pinholes are aligned. Once they are, you can thread in the anti-rattle bolt. Once that's threaded in as far as it can go by hand, you're going to take your wrench out, finish tightening, ensuring that the holes on the opposite side of that pin are facing towards you, which will allow for easy placement of the clip on the other side. Now that's tight. more

Speaker 2: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Equinox, we are going to be doing a test fit on the Saris bike Porter, this is a folding and tilting four bike rack, it has been designed for use with 1 1/4 or 2 inch hitches. The part number on it is SA404B and we also have this available in the two bike if you'd prefer, part number on that is SA402B. To begin our test fit we need to slide the shank of our rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up our pin hole with our hitch pin hole. With those in line we've got a standard anti rattle bolt that is provided and we are going to thread that on through. We do this from the driver to the passenger side and then once we've got it hand tight you'll notice there is still some movement and some play there that we are going to have to deal with, we'll bring in our wrench, tighten that on down and our clip that is dropped, that is going to be the clip that is provided and we just slide that in the end of the bolt there. more

Today on our 2005 Chevy Equinox we're going to be test fitting the Saris Freedom 4-Bike Platform Style Rack for 2 Inch Hitches part number SA4414B. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into our hitch. With that in place, we'll go ahead and line up the hitch pin holes and then thread in our anti-rattle hitch bolt. Go ahead and get this tightened down by hand and then we can finish it off with our wrench. This will help take any extra play out of the shank of the rack and helps eliminate movement overall when going down the road. As you can see we're nice and tight there. more

They've designed this for use with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches part number on it is HR8500. Now to begin our test fit, we are going to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, then line up our threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. With those in line, we'll take our threaded anti rattle bolt which is provided, we are going to slide that into the rack and begin thread it on through. With it just hand tight, you'll notice some movement and some play there, it's time to tighten this down. Once we've got it nice and secure, all that movement and all that play is gone. We can then have a clip that is provided, we are just going to slide that in the other end of the bolt there. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to do a test fit on the Thule Helium Aero. This is a folding and tilting 2-bike rack. They've designed it for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. The part number is TH9042. Now this is also available in a 3-bike configuration. The part number: TH9043. To begin our test fit we're going to hold out on our black attached pin, slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of the hitch. more

Swagman XTC4 Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 model we're going to be doing a test fit on the Swagman XTC 4. This is a platform-style folding 4-bike rack. It's been designed for use in 2" hitches. Its part number is S64665. Now to begin our test fit we need to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this we're going to line up our threaded hole with our hitch pinhole. With those in line we need to take our anti-rattle bolt which is provided; we'll slide that in and we'll get in the right spot there, we'll just start threading it through. more

To begin our test fit, we're going to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. Here on the passenger side, we've got two holes to choose from. We'll then line up our threaded hole with our hitch pinhole. We'll then take the anti-rattle bolt, which is provided to us; we'll slide that in and begin to thread it through from the driver side over to the passenger. more

This has been designed for use with inch and 1/4 and 2 inch hitches, part number is RBC044. Now you can also get this in a 2 bike if you prefer. That number is RRRVC045. To begin the test fit, we just slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up our threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. We'll then slide in our anti-rattle bolt and we're going to tighten that down with a wrench. more

Part number on the black and chrome that you see here today is N105-107. This is also going to be available in a gun metal gray and orange; that part number is N101-103. To begin our test fit, need to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this we're going to line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. more
