Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install Glacier Twist-Link Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners, part number PWH3227SC.Now keep in mind that we're using this with tire size 265 65 R18. These tire chains are going to be perfect for high flotation, super-single and wide-base-rim tires.The rounded twist links are going to provide extra traction in snow and ice and form cross chains, which then form a ladder pattern which will assist with effective starts and stops. These are designed for highway use only and have included cam tighteners, which when secured down give us a nice fit without the need of an additional rubber tensioner.The Glacier tire chains are going to work on either front or rear-wheel-drive tires. We do have it on the rear wheels today since our vehicle is mostly driven by the rear axle. They're also going to come in a quantity of two and be quick and easy to install. We'll show you how to do that now.We've gone ahead and laid out our chains, just to make sure there aren't any kinks or breaks in the lines. more

The studded twist links are going to form cross chains that will assisted effective starts and stops as a ladder pattern. The built-in cam tightener are going to give us a nice secure fit without the need of an additional rubber tensioner. The entire chain is going to be made out of a durable steel construction so it's strong and rust resistant.These tire chains work on either front or rear wheel drive vehicles. Today on our 2013 Chevy Silverado, we'll be test fitting the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW3010C. The tire size we will be using on this truck is a 245/70-17. A few items to note about this particular product, that they are Class S compatible, and they are drive on and connect style. They also meet the DOT specifications, and they can also be used on front or rear wheel drive vehicles. In this case, we will be putting them on a rear wheel drive vehicle. Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be test fitting the Glacier Snow Cables, part number PW3027C. Now, our vehicle is equipped with 265/70-17 tires. Make sure you check your owner's manual for further instructions about the use of tire chain and traction products. We'll go ahead and lay out our chain flat. We do want to make sure that the hooks of crossed pieces are facing out so that they won't bite into or damage your tires. There's a tag on the chain that will indicate whether it needs to go on the left hand side of the vehicle or the right hand side and it will also show which direction they need to rotate in. more

Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Silverado, we'll be installing the Glacier Chains, part number PW82328SLC. Our first step would be laying the chain now. We'll make sure we get all the kinks and twists out of the chain from being stored in the back. Now with our chain laid out, let's go ahead and go over some of the functions. First, we'll identify the inside chain hook and chain end that will hook into this on the inside of the tire. Next, we have the J hook that will be on the outside of the tire we use as tensioner and chain shortenaer so you can tighten up the chain. more
