What's up everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Subaru Ascent. We're gonna be test fitting the Kuat Sherpa. So if you're really looking for a bike rack that really has all the features you would want, but looks really good. The Sherpa is my favorite looking rack, just because, one, it's nice and sleek, has a nice powder-coated finish, but it comes in different colors. So right here is the gunmetal gray. more

Hey, Adam here with etrailer, today we're gonna to be taking a look at the Kuat Transfer on our 2020 Subaru Ascent. So if you're looking for a bike rack, that's gonna be great for your carbon fiber bikes. Look no further, I really liked this one, one, because it is gonna have no frame context. So it is great for those carbon fiber bikes, but it's also going to be able to extend to three. So if you have a growing family or your hobby is growing, we can add one more on the end to make it into a three bike rack, which is always awesome. So we are gonna have a little bit of limitations. more

It's in a gunmetal gray, but it is available in three different colors. So we'll have the gray and orange like we have here, there's a matte black version, and also a metallic black version. So you really just want to pick whichever one matches your Subaru or your bike the best. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Subaru Ascent- Video
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan, here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Subaru Ascent, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4-Bike Rack. One of the big questions we get in regards to hitch-mounted bike racks is if you're still going to be able to have full hatch access. Well, this one does fold down and allows us to do that. Come down here to this pin, go ahead and pop that off, pull the pin out, the center will fold down and that'll give us more than enough room to get anything you may need in and out of the back of our Subaru.So our bike is going to be secured in three different spots. We're going to have two straps here along the top tube, and a strap down here, and this is actually going to act as an anti-sway strap to help prevent that side to side movement. more

So today we have the four bike version, but if you don't need to carry that many bikes, there's also a two bike version available as well. One of the big questions we get asked all the time, in regards to hitching on mounted bike racks is if you're still going to be able to have full access to your hatch.
