Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Land Rover Evoque - Curt- Video
Today on our 2013 Land Rover Evoke we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class 3 custom fit trailer hitch receiver part number C13128. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed, and it's going to tuck up nicely behind our fascia and all we're really going to see is our receiver tube opening sticking out. It does have a reinforced collar, giving it a nice, clean look, and it is a class 3, so it's going to be a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Now, it is going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip. It's not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now, as far as the safety chain loops go, it's going to be a rolled steel stock style, welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. As you can see, we're not going to have any issue getting most sized hooks on or off. Now, our hitch is going to feature a 600 pound tongue weight and a 4,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. Now, I do want to mention you always want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can handle that amount of weight. more

Best 2013 Land Rover Evoque Hitch Options- Video
Today on our on our 2013 Land Rover Evoque we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. We have two options here today. They are both Class 3 hitches. On the top we have the CURT, part number C13128. On the bottom we have the Draw-Tite, part number 75227. The biggest difference that we found between our two hitches that we have here today is capacities. Our CURT hitch here at the top has a 600 pound tongue weight rating and a 4,000 pound max gross trailer weight rating, whereas our Draw-Tite hitch here at the bottom is a little bit higher. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Land Rover Evoque- Video
Today on our 2013 Land Rover Evoke, we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75227. All right, here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's completely hidden underneath our fascia. The only part that sticks out is the class III 2" receiver itself and then our rolled steel safety chain loops that are welded to the bottom of the receiver. On the side of our receiver here we'll find two pin holes. The larger one closest to the front of the vehicle is our 5/8" diameter hitch pin hole to secure whatever hitch-mounted accessory we may have. The smaller one here to the rear is a J-pin stabilization device hole. more
