However, this is a work vehicle, so it doesn't take away from the look. This is gonna be a Class 3, 2"x2". It's gonna have a reinforced collar to give you a little extra stability on your receiver tube. This is for a J-pin stabilization device only. What that's for, it's gonna take the shake and play out of any of your hitch-mount accessories. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Ford Transit Connect you'll be having a look at the best trailer hitch options. We have two hitch options here today. On the top we have a Draw-Tite, part number 75678. On the bottom we have a CURT, part number 13076.Now the first biggest difference that we found between our two hitches here today is when it comes down to towing. Our safety chain loop styles are a little bit different here. On our Draw-Tite hitch we have a plate-style safety chain loops setup which is welded to the bottom of the receiver and the frame of the hitch. more

Today on our 2012 Ford Transit Connect, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt Class Three custom fit trailer hitch receiver, Part number 13076. This is what our hitch is going to look like fully installed. You're going to see the nice cross tube going across here. You're going to have that nice reinforced collar on your receiver tube. This is a Class Three, and it's going to have a 2 inch by 2 inch reinforced receiver tube opening. This is going to use a standard five-eighths pin and clip. more
