Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best hitch options for our 2014 Dodge Avenger.The best options for our Dodge Avenger are gonna be our Draw-Tite and our Curt. While these are very similar, there are a few subtle differences between the two. When it comes to clearances, that's gonna go to our Draw-Tite. It's gonna have a half inch better clearance in both directions, which will come in handy when choosing your accessories.When it comes to appearance, that's gonna go to our Curt. It seems to have a little bit nicer of a finish on it, and the reinforced collar really makes it look nicer off the back end.The main differences between these two hitches is the clearances. Today in our 2014 Dodge Avenger, well be installing the Curt hitch, part number C11133. Before we begin our install, heres what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the vehicle. We'll next give you some measurements that will help you in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 6 and three quarter inches. From the top of the receiver to have opening to the ground is 10 and three quarter inches. Now, well go ahead with the installation. First, to begin our install, well go ahead and point out the attachment points. We'll have a total of four attachment points, two on each side. more
