Today we're going to check out the best hitches available for your 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. There's only two so it will be a pretty easy comparison. First off we got our CURT, which is going to be part number C11282, and this one from Draw-Tite, which is going to be part number 24882. Let's go ahead and take a look at one of these that's on the car. In this case this is our CURT hitch. Now both these hitches are going to sit underneath the vehicle and be recessed just like this. They're also going to share the same 1-1/4" opening. more

Today on our 2012 Chevy Cruze we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, part number C11282. Next we'll give you a couple measurements to assist you selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 6 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11 inches. This will assist you selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and point out the attachment points. We'll have a total of 4 attachment points, 2 on each side. These attachment points are pre-drilled holes in the frame by the manufacturer. more
