This has a 2" by 2" receiver tube, which will accommodate a wide variety of accessories.This hole here is going to be for the 5/8" hitch pin hole and this is going to be for your J-pin stabilization device. The J-pin stabilization device is going to be used for taking the shake and play out of any of your hitch mounted accessories. more

Here's what our hitch looks like on our vehicle. It has a nice, round tube design and contours with the shape of our vehicle. It's going to be an inch and a quarter by an inch and a quarter class two hitch. It's going to give you a half inch hitch pin hole and a nice flat plate design for your safety chains. As you can see, this hitch doesn't stick out past the bumper, so you wouldn't have to worry about hitting your knees or your shins. more

Today on your 2010 Dodge Durango, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max Frame custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 75713. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit right below our bumper and our cross tube is going to come back and go a little bit angled towards the front of the vehicle. It's going to have a two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening. It is a class-three hitch. It's going to have a nice reinforced collar on it, giving it a nice clean look. If we bring our attention here to the side of our receiver tube, this back hole here, this is going to be for a standard 5/8th pin and clip which is not included with our hitch, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. more

Next, we have the Curt Extra Duty with the 2" x 2" opening, which is part number C15409, and then finally, we have the BMW Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch. It all also has a 2" x 2" opening, and its part number is BMWHDRH25211. When it comes to weight rating, the Curt Commercial Duty is going to offer us a maximum gross trailer weight rating of 20,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight rating of 2,700 pounds. Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Sportframe class 1 trailer hitch receiver, part number 24890. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, it's tucked up nice and tight to the underside of the fascia here so it's going to maintain a pretty clean look when on the vehicle so it's not going to take away and make it really stand out. Features the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. It's got the rolled steel safety chain connection points underneath here. It's got a 1/2" hitch pinhole, which is going to be good for securing all of your class 1 accessories. This features a 200 pound max tongue weight rating, which is the the downward force here on the inside of the receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Dodge Journey- Video
Today in our 2016 Dodge Journey we'll be installing a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class 3, part number C13201. As you can see it's a nice clean look, has this nice angular design to give us plenty of drop so we don't have any clearance issues when we're inserting accessories into our hitch, don't want to worry about anything hitting our bumper cover here. This hitch has a 400 lb max gross tongue weight rating and a 4,000 lb max gross trailer weight rating. It does support the use of weight distribution but those numbers stay the same, they do not increase at all. You may notice this hitch has a nice welded on collar at the end of it to give it a nice finished look and add a little bit of reinforcement to it. We have these angular plates for our safety chain welded on the bottom of our receiver. more

Today in our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver. Its part number is 13364. Now here's what your hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, a completely hidden cross tube. That's excellent for the cosmetics here at the rear of the vehicle. See our receiver tube opening tucks up very nicely to the bottom of the bumper, not going to have to worry about cutting the bumper or anything like that, but it gets it up as high as absolutely possible. This is a class three hitch, so we've got our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening here. more

As you can see that cross tube is going to remain hidden up behind the inaudible 00:00:18 so you're not going to be adding a lot to the looks of the rear of the vehicle. Just your receiver two opening here and your safety chain connection points. Now, connection points are nice and open, made out of a round, steel stack, so just about any style chain should work out well on there. Here's our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. You'll see the band woven around the end there to act as a reinforcement collar. more

Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. Nice thing I like about it aesthetically is this crosstube is going to be completely hidden up behind that rear fascia. All we're really going to be adding is going to be our receiver tube opening here and our safety chain connection points. Those connection points you'll see are the rolled steel style. I like those are going to do the job but they're not one of those big plates that take up a lot of room there. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Dodge Journey - Curt- Video
Today on our 2006 Dodge Journey we will be installing a Curt class 2 inch and a quarter trailer hitch receiver. Part number C12134. As you can see, very little that hangs down below our vehicle. Just a little bit of the frame, the class 2 inch and a quarter receiver itself, our safety chain loops which are right at the bottom of it here on this angular plate. Now, these are kind of small, so if you have some large safety chain loops on your trailer you may need to change the hook out to something that's a little bit smaller to fit inside of here. You see our receiver has this nice collar welded around it to give it a nice finished look and give it a little bit more reinforcement. On the side of our receiver we have our industry standard half inch diameter hitch pin hole. Now, this hitch has a 350 pound tongue weight rating, and a 3,500 pound max gross trailer weight rating. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Journey we will be installing the Draw-tite Max Frame Class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75648. Here is what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it tucks up nicely underneath our vehicle, doesn't hang down an excessive amount. We have plenty of room around our spare tire here to lower it down without having to get a weird angle to when we put it back up. It is a nice feature. Some other ones sit above it a little bit, this one doesn't. This hitch has a nice gloss black powder coat finish that blends in nicely with our vehicle. It looks like it was there from the factory. more

It's part number is 75713. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed. Visually from behind the vehicle we'll see the side plates, we're going to see the cross tube coming over to the receiver tube opening. With this being a Class III hitch it's going to be extremely versatile, tons of accessories that you can put in here, cargo carriers, bike racks, of course ball mounts for towing trailers. There's any number of things that usually make it in a Class III version, so you should be able to take advantage of it. Today on our 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CURT class three trailer hitch receiver, part number C13362. This hitch is for Caravans without stow-and-go seating. What I like most about this hitch is how far it comes out and how easy everything is here to access around the receiver tube, so it should be easy to get any pins or hitch locks or anything like that on and off, and getting your accessories shouldn't be a problem mounted on the hitch. As you can see, everything's pretty well hidden away except for the receiver tube and safety chain connections right here. This does come out plenty far to make sure that it's going to give you plenty of room with just about any accessory that you may want to mount in here. You shouldn't really need to worry about clearance to the rear of your vehicle. Features the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening with a nice reinforcement collar around it that helps give it a clean look but also makes it nice and sturdy. more

What I like most about this hitch is how it comes out, and it does maintain a pretty good look on the vehicle overall, but more importantly its going to give you very good usability of the hitch. As you can see, is nicely tucked up to the underside of the fascia here to where it should give you plenty of ground clearance. You can see the round cross tube all the way across on both sides. This is a nice, heavy duty hitch. Its got the 2 x 2 receiver tube opening with this nice welded on reinforcement collar around it. more

What I like most about this hitch is that it's pretty well hidden because really this is just about all that you see. It's going to do a really good job of making sure that you've got good accesibility and usability with this hitch while remaining fairly hidden. The main thing that you're going to see here is just the receiver tube and the safety chain connection points. This receiver tube is 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" with welded-on reinforcement collard around it. The safety chain connections are the rolled steel loops that are welded to the underside of the receiver tube. Features the 1/2" hitch pinhole in order to secure all the accessories. more

You can see our main cross tube runs from frame to frame here, almost completely hidden, you would never actually be able to see it standing behind the vehicle, you would have to kneel down a little bit so that's nice. What we're left with is just going to be the receiver tube, comes out here to our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. A flush reinforcement collar around the end there cleans it up, see it's tucked in behind the bumper. Now in installing it, you can see, it's going to push up just slightly here on the rear bumper. more

Here's what our Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver is going to look like. It's going to have a real nice tucked up and sleek look on the back end of our vehicle. Offering that black powder coat finish That's going to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion, and the only thing that's going to really be visible, is going to be that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and the rolled steel chain tie downs. Now a couple of nice features about this receiver hitch, is that it's going to have the J pin stabilization hole, which will be a half inch pin hole directly in front of that five eighths inch pin hole for all your accessories. It's going to have a real nice tucked up and sleek look on the back end of our vehicle offering that black powder coat finish that's going to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion and the only thing that's going to be really visible is going to be that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and the rold steel chain tie downs. Now, a couple of nice features of this receiver hitch is that it's going to have the J pin stabilization hole, which will be a 1/2 inch pinhole directly in front of that 5/8 inch pinhole for all your accessories. Now the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube is going to offer a 400 pound tongue weight capacity and 4,000 pound towing capacity. With weight distribution, that's going to go up to 500 pounds tongue weight capacity and 5,000 pounds towing capacity. Today, on our 2016 Dodge Caravan, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13364. Here is what our Curt Custom Fit Trailer Hitch is going to look like once it's installed on our vehicle. It's going to have that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening coming out the back, it's going to be nice and tucked up against the bottom side of the bumper. Having that nice rolled steel, chain tie downs, and having only the receiver tube visible from the backside, giving it a real nice slick and stylish look. With its heavy-duty black powder coat finish, is going to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion. Having a 5/8 inch pinhole straight through the side, that's going to allow you to attach all your two inch receiver accessories. This receiver hitch is also going to have a fully welded design, with a max tongue weight of 400 pounds, and max towing capacity of 4,000 pounds. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Dodge Charger - Curt- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Charger, we're going to install our Curt trailer hitch receiver custom fit class 3, part number C13093. On our class 3 hitch we have here, the tongue weight, that's the downward force you can put on it, it's 350 pounds. Our trailer weight, that's what's being dragged behind your vehicle trailer and whatever is included on the trailer, that's 3,500 pounds. From the center of your pinhole here to the outermost part of our bumper, that's going to be right about 7 inches, and from the top of our receiver hole here to the ground, we're going to have about 9 inches clearance. That should help you pick whatever accessories you may want to purchase, so our first step is to remove our hanger mounts. We've got a 13 millimeter bolt on each side and we also have one further back. Our next step is we have 2 spring loaded screws on our muffler. more

Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango we're going to take a look at then show you how to install the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver. This offers a two inch opening, its part number is 87608. Here's what the hitch looks like when installed. As you can see it goes right below the bumper here as opposed to some of that would sit up a little bit higher behind our cover. Got nice safety chain connection points on each side we should be able to get just about any kind of safety chain connected. This is going to give us a good very good tow rating. We've got a six hundred pound ton weight capacity. That's the maximum amount of force we can put downward here. more

Today on our 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite class three two inch receiver tube hitch, part number 75305. Now, here's what our hitch is going to look like once installed. This is a completely steel and fully welded constructed hitch. The entire hitch has a nice black powder coated finish which will resist rust and corrosion that can build up over time. You can see a majority of the hitch is exposed but it blends in nicely with the under body of the vehicle. This is our class three hitch and on either side of the receiver tube is going to be our chain hold down, five eighths pin hole that goes all the way through the receiver tube and our half inch pin hole designed to use with the J pin style anti rattle bolt and lock. Being a class three hitch, it's a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening that's capable of up to three hundred and fifty pounds of tongue weight and a thirty five hundred pound tow capacity. more

Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. This is a completely steel and fully welded construction of our hitch. It's got a really nice black powder-coated finish so that it'll resist rust and corrosion over time. One of the really nice features about the hitch is we have an electrical bracket that's been pre-welded to the cross tube so we can hook up any trailer or electrical connection. This is our square cross tube so it's got a real sturdy design. more
