This is a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver class I. All right, this is what the hitch looks like once installed on the Prius.Next we'll give you some measurements. They'll help you out in selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground was about 11 and a quarter inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the bumper was just over two inches.Now I'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. We have to remove an under body panel on the driver side. more

Today on this 2005 Toyota Prius, we're going to install part number 60894 from Hidden Hitch. Now this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the Prius. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 11-1/2 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 2 inches. Today on this 2005 Toyota Prius we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 60894. Before we get started with our hitch installation, we are going to go ahead and show you a couple of final install dimensions. From the top of the receive tube opening to the ground is going to measure 11 inches. And from the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure 5 inches.
