Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now, there's plenty of options available here at etrailer as far as your trailer hitch for your Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I've gone ahead and selected three of them which I think are great choices or at least my personal favorites, and they all offer a little bit different from one to the next. So up top, we have our Draw-Tite, then we have our Curt, and then finally we have our etrailer. Now, when shopping for a hitch, they can all start to kind of look the same, but I'm here to kind of break down maybe some differences that help determine which one's best for you. Now, with the three that we have here, the main difference that we're gonna have between them all is gonna be the visibility of once it's installed, how it's actually gonna look on the vehicle. Hi there Jeep owners today in your 2015, Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailer's, class three, two inch trailer hitch receiver. So it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you're wanting to place accessories in it and it's such as a bike rack or cargo carrier and load them up to the max, or if you need to take along, a medium or a small sized trailer with you for the weekend. It uses a 5/8 inch hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the hitch, but we have plenty available at etrailer.com here. On bottom, we have plate style safety chain loops, and it's got a medium to small size opening that should work with most of your medium and smaller size safety chains. If you do have larger safety chains, you're wanting to attach, we do have quick links available that will allow any safety chain to easily attach to those, by hoking this is onto your safety chain loop on your hitch.It features a 600 pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of the receiver, and that should be more than enough for a cargo carrier loaded to the max or a four bike platform rack fully loaded up as well. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite class three 2" receiver tube hitch, part number 75699. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed, as our square crosstube is hidden behind the rear fascia. That square crosstube is going to run into a fully welded construction for our receiver tube. On either side of our class three receiver tube is going to be our chain hold down. We've got a two-hole system. The larger closer to the front of the vehicle is the 5/8 pinhole for your pin or lock. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Curt- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to review and install the Curt class 3 2 inch receiver tubage, part number C13182. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. It's got a really nice, stylish, round cross tube design and it goes into a fully welded construction. It's got a nice black powder coated finish and that'll help resist rust and corrosion over time and really blends in nicely with the under body of the vehicle. Here on either side of the receiver tube is our chain hold down and our 5/8 pre-drilled pinhole that goes all the way through the receiver tube. This is our class 3 hitch and it's a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube capable of up to 750 pounds of tongue weight and a 5,000 pound tow capacity. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to review and install the CURT class three 2" receiver tube hitch, part number C13065. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. As you can see, it's a really nice hitch because a good portion of our support structure is hidden behind the rear fascia. It's a square crosstube design into a fully welded constructed hitch. It's also a nice black powder-coated finish so it blends in well with the underbody of the vehicle and will resist rust and corrosion. Here's our receiver tube. more
