Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Jeep Renegade- Video
Speaker 1: Today, on this 2016 Jeep Renegade, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite class two inch and a quarter receiver hitch, part number 36587. All right, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on a Renegade, and yes, you can see on an initial glance, it does sit completely underneath the bumper.Our hitch is going to have an inch and a quarter receiver opening right here which will be great for light duty towing or cargo carriers or even bike racks. For towing purposes, our hitch is going to have very generous openings for your safety chains, and also it's going to use that half inch hitch pin or your favorite locking hitch pin. Our hitch pin hole uses a half inch diameter hitch pin or your favorite locking hitch pin.Going on to the rest of our hitch, it uses round tube construction which looks nice and matches with the vehicle, compared to square receivers. It goes all the way out to the edge here and it reaches up towards the frame rails. Our hitch has a black, powder coat finish on it to help protect it from the elements and any road debris.Our weight capacities of our hitch, for towing, are going to be 300LBs of tongue weight, which is the weight that pushes down on the hitch, and then the hitch can pull up to 3,500LBs. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Jeep Renegade- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2016 Jeep Renegade, we'll be having a look at, and installing, the Curt Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12142.All right, here's what our hitch looks like installed. It is tucked up behind our fascia here nicely, so we don't have to worry about running our ankle or our shin into it as we're loading cargo into our hatch. Also, around our receiver opening, we have an adequate amount of clearance around the fascia and around the ground, making this an ideal hitch to use for bike racks and cargo carriers.Now, if you are going to use this hitch for a non-trailer application, Curt does require the use of a stabilization strap to help support the load. We have those available separately on our website.On the side of our receiver here you'll our industry-standard 1/2" diameter hitch pin hole, to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories that we may have. On the end our our receiver we have this collar that's welded on to help improve the looks and give it some added strength. Welded on the bottom of the frame of our hitch and our receiver tube is our safety-chain plate. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76104. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit just right below our bumper and all we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out. It is a class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, and it does have a nice reinforced collar, giving it a clean look and added strength. Our hitch is going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip, which is going to be the larger hole toward the front of our vehicle. They're not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now the secondary hole towards the back of our receiver tube, that's going to be for the J-pin stabilization device, which is great if any of your accessories for your hitch don't have a built-in anti-rattle. As far as safety chain loop, it's going to be a plate style welded on either side of our receiver tube. more

Today on our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13065. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, the only part of our hitch that is visible from behind our vehicle is the actual 2" receiver opening itself with our safety chain loops on the bottom. The main receiver of the hitch is hidden behind a rear fascia completely tucked up underneath the vehicle. Now, a few things that our customers have said about this hitch they really like is that it has a clean factory like appearance. I'll agree with them on that because it does look like a factory hitch on this vehicle. They like the fact that the receiver is the only part that is visible on it with their 00:00:45 frame being tucked up behind the fascia. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Curt C13182- Video
Today in our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we'll be having a look at and installing the CURT class three trailer hitch receiver, part number C13182. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. We have a decent portion of our frame hanging down. But there's a good section of it that's hidden behind the rear fascia. We do have this stylish tubular construction to give it a very factory-like appearance and make it more aesthetically pleasing than having a square bar hanging down. on the side of our receiver here, we have our industry standard five-eighths of an inch diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories. Now towards the end of our receiver opening, we have this nice collar that is welded on to help give it a more pleasing appearance and to give it some extra strength and durability when we're towing a trailer. On the bottom here, we have our safety chain loop plate which is welded on to the bottom of the frame and the receiver. Now the opening is a little bit small so you have to make sure you have some smaller safety chain loops if you're planning on towing a trailer with this hitch. This hitch features a 5,000 pound max gross trailer weight rating and a 750 pound max gross tongue weight rating. more

Today on our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Class 3 trailer hitch receiver, part number 75699. Our hitch is completely hidden behind our rear fascia of our vehicle. The only part that you'll see hanging down is our actual Class 3 2" receiver opening itself, with our safety chain loops, which are a rolled steel design welded onto the bottom of our receiver here. What I like about these, being a rolled steel design, you can clip in from the back, the side, or the front, giving you plenty of options depending on your safety chain configuration. This gives you the room to work with in order to get properly hooked up. This hitch is unique in the regards that there are two pin holes here. The larger one is our industry-standard 5/8" diameter pin hole, which you'll use to secure any of your hitch-mounted accessories with a pin and clip or a locking device. more

Today on this 2015 Jeep Cherokee we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch, part number 75998. All right, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our Jeep Cherokee. You'll notice it does sit below down the bumper here, and it does require a cutout in the bumper. It's all on the bottom, so you really can't see the cutout when you're standing up away from the vehicle. Now, our hitch is a class III, which gives us a two-inch receiver opening right here. You'll want to note 00:00:17 we have sticking down is our class III 2 by 2 inch receiver here and our safety chain loops on the bottom of your receiver. These safety chain loops are easy to use, fairly large opening, and we won't have any issue being able to clip a safety chain in around any angle on it if we need to. Some safety chain loops, you're limited and you're only able 00:00:39 to clip on the front. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Jeep Renegade- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Renegade, we will be installing the Kirt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part Number C13269. Here is what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it is a nice clean look underneath our vehicle. We have this nice, high gloss, powder coat finish on our entire hitch. Our safety chain loops are an angular steel construction, welded to the bottom of the receiver and the frame of our hitch. You see we also have this nice welded on collar around our Class 3 2X2 inch opening, to give the nice aesthetic appearance. This hitch features a 525 pound max tongue weight rating and a 3500 pound max gross trailer rate rating. Kirt does require the use of a stabilization strap if you are going to be using it for a non-trailer application, such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier. more

Today in our 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport, we'll be installing the Curt class three trailer hitch receiver, part number C13172. Here's what the hitch looks like installed. As you can see, the only thing you can really see hanging down the vehicle at all is the actual class 3 inaudible 00:00:17 receiver here with the safety chain loops attached to it. The main body of the hitch is completely hidden behind the rear fascia of the vehicle so it's a real clean install. It looks exactly like what a factory hitch would look like on most vehicles. It also sticks in nicely from the rear bumper cover here so when you're walking behind the back of the vehicle to put stuff in the hatch, you don't have to worry about running your knee into it or your legs. That's a nice selling point of it there. This hitch has a maximum ton weight rating of 750 pounds and a max trailer weight rating of up to 5,000 pounds. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Jeep Patriot - Draw-Tite 36423- Video
Today we're going to be reviewing and installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver class 2 hitch, part number 36423 for a 2014 Jeep Patriot. Now, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our vehicle, so you can see you've got a reinforcement collar here around the 1 1/4 by 1 1/4-inch receiver tube. You got safety chain loops right here. Cross tube is nice and tucked up behind the fascia here, so all you're seeing is this receiver tube and the safety chain loops. It's a bolt-on, so there's no drilling or welding required. If you'd like to remount the tow hook that may have been originally equipped on the vehicle, you do have drill the tow hook, but not for the hitch. It's got a nice black powder coat that has a e-base layer underneath it to help give superior rust and corrosion protection. Right here it's got the 1/2-inch hitch pin hole, and this hitch features a 300-pound tongue weight rating and a 3,500-pound gross trailer weight rating, and you'll want to be sure to check your vehicle's owner's manual to see what your vehicle is rated for, as far as towing. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear-most part of the bumper is 6 inches. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install, the draw tight, custom fit, class II trailer hitch receiver. This offers the inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. It's part number is 36424. Here's what our hitch looks like, once installed on the vehicle. See we've got our plate that's going to come around here, that leads right here into the middle of our inch a quarter by inch and a quarter tube. It's going to give us our opening, and of course our reinforcement collar, there around the end. Safety chain connection points of rolled steel style, here, should be great for connecting whatever type of safety chain that you might have. You can also see our pin hole here. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler, we're going to take a look at, and show you how to install, the Curt Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, offering the 2" by 2" opening. Part number is 9883544. Here you can see what the hitch looks like installed. You see our receiver tube opening here is going to be about flush with the end of the bumper. It's got a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening of course, and then here you can see our rounded-style safety chain connection points, they're on a plate there, so it should give us great security, nice heavy duty. I think just about any safety chain you'd have should connect there, and .. See, our receiver tube opening here, that's 5/8" in diameter and I think that most Class III accessories should work, as long as they have a little bit smaller diameter. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the draw tight max frame custom fit class III trailer hitch receiver offering the 2 inch X 2 inch opening. This part number is 75515. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on our Jeep. As you can see it uses the factor recess here nicely and kind of tucks the hitch up a little bit. We're not adding a whole lot cosmetically to the rear. We're just going to have this small area here that comes down and then our receiver tube opening that comes out. As you can see this one has more of a rounded style reinforcement collar on the end here set up with a dual pinhole set up. more

We're just going to have that main rear brace comes up and just the receiver tube opening's really all that's going to be below the bumper. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Jeep Commander - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2007 Jeep Commander, we have our Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class 2 Trailer Hitch, part number 90114. One of the great things about this hitch, because it is so small when you install it, all you're seeing is just, maybe, a 5 X 3 inch square of it. Unlike other hitches where you may see a bar that comes down and across, this is all just right here, really compact, and really doesn't stick out a whole lot. This is a 1 1/4 X 1 1/4 inch hitch, so it'll do great with bike racks, small hitches if you have a small trailer or something. Our two weight measurements here, we have 300 pound weight capacity, that's our tongue capacity, which is a straight down weight, and then we have a 3500 pound tow capacity, which is a pulling this way weight. Here's a couple measurements to help you choose your accessories, such as a ball mount and bike rack. Our first measurement is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most part of your bumper. That measurement is 5 inches. more
