Hi there Honda owners. Today in your 2008 Honda Accord, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's class one, 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver, and this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. It is going to be visible from behind the vehicle, but it is tucked up pretty nicely underneath the bumper and far back. So unless you're down below like we are, you're really not gonna notice it too much. It's a class one, 1 1/4 by 1 1/4 inch receiver. So it's gonna be great for all of your accessories and some very light duty towing. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Honda Accord - Curt- Video
Today on our 2008 Honda Accord, we'll be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C11085. Now, here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 4-1/2 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 11-1/2 inches. Now, let's go ahead and install our hitch. We're going to begin here by putting a safety strap underneath the exhaust to support it once we remove the rubber isolators holding the mufflers up. Next, we're going to go ahead and remove two rubber isolators from each of the mufflers. more
