Speaker 1: Today on our 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. We have two hitches here today. On the top we have a Draw-Tite. It's part number 41543. On the bottom we have a CURT, part number c13505.The biggest difference that we found between our two hitches here today is in regards to weight capacity. Our Draw-Tite hitch here at the top, we have a 315 pound max gross tongue weight rating and a 3,500 pound max gross trailer weight rating. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe - Curt- Video
Installer: Today in our 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe we'll be having a look at and installing the CURT Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13505. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. One thing you'll notice about this hitch, is that it's completely hidden behind our rear fascia. The only part that you'll see is the receiver hanging down itself, giving us a nice, clean, and factory-like appearance on our vehicle.On the side of our receiver right here, we have our industry standard 5/8 of an inch diagonal hitch pinhole, to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. Welded on the bottom of our receiver, are our nice rolled steel safety chain loops. What's nice about these is they're fairly large opening, and we can clip on from the back, the side, or even the front of it.Welded on the back of our receiver is this nice collar, to help reinforce the receiver opening and give us a nice finished appearance.This hitch features a 400 pound max gross ton weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 4000 pound max gross trailer rate rating, which is the amount you can pull.It does not support the use of weight distribution. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Today we are working on a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. We're going to install hidden hitch part number 87419. This will also be comparable to the Draw-Tite part number 41543. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a bike rack, cargo carrier, or draw bar. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most point of the bumper is 2-1/2, from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 14-1/2. Now lets go ahead with the installation. more
