B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Offset Ball Installation - 2014 Toyota Tundra

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Toyota Tundra we're going to be taking a look at the four inch offset ball for B&W turnover gooseneck trailer hitch, part number BWGNXA4585. This is what our offset ball looks like, it's going to be 2-5/16, and it's going to replace the ball that comes with the hitch kit. Now what this is going to do, it's going to provide you with more clearance between your cab and your trailer. You're simply going to drop into place, and it's going to move your pivot point point back four inches. So with the ball that comes with the kit, it's going to give you 7,500 pound vertical load limit, and a 30,000 pound gross towing capacity. When you switch to this offset ball, this is going to drop your total weight capacity, or towing capacity, to 20,000 pounds and your vertical load limit to 5,000 pounds. So keep that in mind. You always want to check your owners' manual, though, to make sure your vehicle can withstand the amount of weight and pick the lowest number between the two. This is going to have a nice powder coat finish to resist any corrosion, you can see it's nice thick steel so we're not going to have to worry about it bending or breaking. more
