Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, you're going to be taking a look at, going to show you how to install, the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains, part number: TC1142.This is what our chains look like when they're installed. They're going to be a ladder-pattern design, they're going to give you excellent traction in deep snow and adequate grip on ice. The cross chains are going to give you twist links that are going to reduce the amount of vibration when you're driving, unlike some of the other chains out there that have square links. The ladder-pattern design is going to make for effective starts and stops in light snow and ice. They're going to be constructed out of a low-carbon steel that's going to be strong and bearable.One thing I really like about these chains, you're not going to have any cams or buckles that could possibly come loose when driving on rough terrain. These chains are SAE Class S rated for vehicles with limited wheel-well clearance, have a 30 mile-per-hour speed rating, come in a quantity of two and come with a nice reusable storage case. more

Titan Chain Cable Tire Chains Installation - 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be test-fitting the Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TC343DC.These chains have rollers wrapper around the cable here to form cross chains. What these are going to be mainly designed for is your light snow situations, so this is pretty much for more occasional use, not necessarily full-time use. They're also low-profile, so they're going to give you a nice, smooth ride in the light snow situations, and they also come equipped with their own tensioning device, as opposed to others where you would have to buy this separately.The chains have a diagonal pattern to them, which is going to give you a little bit extra stopping power during turns. These do come in a quantity of two and do also have a convenient carrying case, so once you're finished using them, you can place them in the back of your Dodge Grand Caravan and they're ready for next time.These are also SAE Class S chains, which are designed to work with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, such as our Dodge Grand Caravan here, and they meet Department of Transportation requirements in all states.Today, we're working with tire size 225 65R17. We went ahead and laid the chain out in front of the tire like you see it here to make sure there's no kinks in the line or anything like that, and we also recommend that you wear gloves while you install this. Our first step is we're going to take this portion here, push it around the back of the tire, leaving the open end around the front of the tire. more

We're gonna be test-fitting the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1042.These chains have rollers on them that go around the cables here to form cross chains. Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains Review - 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're gonna be test fitting the Titan chain alloy snow tire chains, part number TC1555. These diamond pattern tire chains are great for both snow and ice situations, so when you use these, this is gonna be for more of the more frequent use. They have these small D-links here, and that's really gonna help out with that traction in both the snow and ice as well. Now with the diamond pattern design of it, it's gonna have greater coverage on your tire, and it's gonna help out with better starts and stops, but also with the small D-links, it's gonna provide a smoother ride in those snow and ice situations as well.These chains are manually installed and are pretty much color coded where you need to go as far as what links up to what and what chain needs to be pulled through where. Also, what sets this apart from other chains is it has its own built in self tensioning system as opposed to the aftermarket rubber tensioners you might have to buy with other style chains out there. First off, they are going to provide a smoother ride and wear evenly over time, but they're also going to give you superior traction in both snow and ice situations, and with the ladder pattern here, that's going to help with both effective starts and stops in those conditions.These are very easy to install. Manual installation.
