Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Ford Edge we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of part numbers RRVA137B-2. These are the Vortex Aero Crossbars, 54 inches long. These also come in silver, part number RRVA137S-2. We'll also be using part number RRRLKVA, these are the 2500 series feet for the Vortex Aero Crossbars. And finally part number DK228, and that's going to be the fit kit, and the clamps that clamp on the door frame of your existing vehicle.Now, how we got the front one installed here, we had everything assembled, we put it into place, and then we measured from the center of the door jamb here to the center of the bar on both sides to make sure it was even, to get everything measured out. more

Today on our 2013 Ford Edge we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino Rack RS 2500 Roof Rack System, part number: RRRS524B. This kit is also available in silver, part number: RRRS524. The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your bike racks, cargo baskets and ski and snowboard carriers on your vehicle's roof. This will allow you to empty up space inside your cargo area. This is an aerodynamic roof rack that is going to have vortex weatherstrip on the inside that helps to reduce wind, noise and drag compared to other styled crossbars. This weatherstrip on the top is removable and it is going to help to keep dirt, debris and liquid out of your crossbar. It is also easily cutdown to accommodate channel-mounted accessories. The locking end cap is going to make sure your refract system stays secure to your vehicle and the custom pad, as well as the clamp, is custom fit to your vehicle and has rubber on any portion that touches your vehicle; so it will help to reduce any kind of scratches or abrasions. This roof rack system has a 165 pound weight pound capacity, so you do want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. We all ready have our first crossbar installed on our vehicle. We're going to show you how we put the second one together. more

SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack Review - 2013 Ford Edge

Today, on our 2013, Ford Edge, we'll be test fitting the Sport Rack semi-custom roof rackfor naked roofssquare cross bars 50 inches long, part number SR-1010 with our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening both front doors. We'll place our front bar onto the front part of our roof. To ensure that we have this bar in the correct spot, we need to measure 9 inches from the center of our door jamb to the center of our footpack. We'll do this measurement on both sides, to make sure that our feet are in-linewith each other. We can use the included Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt to secure our foot clamp around the roof line of our vehicle. We'll do this on both sides. more

Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Ford Edge

Today on our 2013 Ford Edge, we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with a heavy duty square bars 44 inches long and silver, part number DH1375S. We'll also be using the custom DKclamps and pads for the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack systems, part number DK228. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll grab our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof.We need to measure from the center of the door jam to the center arrow of leg foot plate.This measurement needs to be 170 millimeters or 17 centimeters. We'll do this measurement on both sides to insure that our feet are in line with each other. Once we have it in place, we can use the included tool to tighten down the bolt, which will secure our clamp around our roof line. We'll make our way back and forth, tightening a little bit at a time, so we don' t lose our position. more

Today on our 2013 Ford Edge we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with Euro Square Bars, 54 inches long in black, part number DS1375B. We'll also be using the custom DK clamps and pads for the Rhino Rack 2500 Series, which is DK228. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening our front doors. We'll place the front bar onto the front part of our roof. To ensure that we have this bar in the correct spot, we need to measure 170 mm or 17 cm from the center of the door jam to the center of our foot plate. We'll do this measurement on both sides to ensure that our feet are in line with each other. Now we can take the included tool, tighten down the Allen bolt, which will secure our clamp around the roof line of our vehicle. more

With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll grab our front bar and place it onto front part of our roof. To ensure that we have our bar in the correct spot, we need to measure 170 millimeters or 17 centimeters from the center of the door jamb to the center of our foot pack. We'll do this measurement on both sides to ensure that our feet are in line with each other. Once we have it in place, we can go ahead and use the included tool to tighten down our bolts which will secure our clamps around our roof line. We'll open our rear doors and grab our rear bar. To ensure that we have our rear bar in the correct spot we need to measure 700 millimeters or 70 centimeters from the center of our front bar to the center of our rear bar. more

Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Ford Edge

Today on our 2013 Ford Edge, were going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Roof Rack System. Well be using the 58 inch load bars part number Y00409. We will also be using the Q 102 Q Clips for the Yakima Q Towers, part number Y00702 and they Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack Feet for the Naked Roof, part number Y00124. Were going to start with our load bars already assembled according to the instructions. First off, well go ahead and open the front car doors and then we can go ahead and put our front load bar in place. To make sure we have them located in the right spot, were going to measure from the leading edge of the windshield to the leading edge of our tower. more
