Today on our 2017 Toyota Prius V, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. Now you can see it's gonna have a really nice, clean appearance to it, because the cross tube is gonna be completely hidden behind the bumper, and all we're gonna see is the receiver tube opening. Now, our EcoHitch is gonna give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna have the most variety of options when it comes to accessories. The way we're gonna mount any of those accessories to the hitch pin hole here on the side. Now the hitch is gonna accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Toyota Prius v- Video
Today on our 2017 Toyota Prius V, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Class 1 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. You're going to see the cross tube, it's going to sit right below the bumper, but it is set back at an angle, so the main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube right here. It is a Class 1 hitch, means it's going to give us an 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, which would be great for bike racks and some smaller cargo carriers.The way we're going to mount any of our accessories to our hitch is going to be through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It's going to accept a standard half-inch pin and clip, these are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure. If you're going to be doing any light-duty towing, keep in mind that there is a specific drawbar made for our hitch, and you can find it here at etrailer.com.You'll notice that the safety chain connection points are going to be a plate-style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. more

Today on our 2017 Toyota Prius V we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Draw Tite Class 1 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver.Here's what our hitch looks like once we have it installed. The cross-tube is going to be visible. It's going to sit right down below the bumper, but it kind of goes back at an angle so it's not as noticeable. Our hitch is going to offer us an inch and a quarter, by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. This will be great for bike racks, some smaller cargo carriers, or if you're going to do some light duty towing.The way we're going to mount any of our accessories is to the hitch pin hole here on the side. Best 2017 Toyota Prius v Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Prius V, we're going to be having a look at our best trailer hitch options. We have four different hitches for you here today. Up top we have our Draw-Tite Class 1 hitch which is visible underneath the vehicle. Next we have a CURT Class 1 hitch, also visible underneath the vehicle. Then we have an EcoHitch Class 3 hitch which is not visible underneath the vehicle, followed by a Draw-Tite Class 1 hitch which will not be visible underneath the vehicle.First we'll give you a brief summary about the differences between our hitches. In regards to capacity, we found that the EcoHitch here was the winner in this category because it does have the highest capacities of our four hitches. more
