Today on our 2011 Toyota Camry, we'll be looking at our best hitch options. All right. We have two hitches here today. On the top, we have a Draw-Tite class two, part number 36416. On the bottom, we have a Curt class two, part number C12343. As you may notice, our hitches are very different here today. They attach in completely different manners. more

Today on our 2011 Toyota Camry we'll be installing the Curt Hitch part number C12343. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 2 inches. From the ground to the top of the opening in the receiver is approximately 12 inches, or one foot. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. To begin with we're going to go ahead and put a safety strap on underneath the exhaust to help support it once we remove the rear bracket as well as two rubber hangers. First we'll go ahead and remove these three bolts that hold the rear exhaust bracket in place. more

Today on our 2011 Toyota Camry well be installing the Draw-Tite Hitch, part number 36416. Now heres what the hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories such as a bicycle rack, a cargo carrier or a ball mount. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately five inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 10-3/4 inches. Now lets go ahead and install our hitch. Well begin here underneath the vehicle by installing a safety strap to help support the exhaust once we remove four exhaust hangers. Well go ahead and hook our safety strap in first and then were going to use a little spray lubricant and a large pry bar to work four rubber exhaust hangers loose. more
