Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Titan Cable Snow Tire Chains; part number TC2028. These are low-carbon steel chains with a ladder-pattern to them, which provides excellent traction in light snow. If you're looking for something a little more heavy duty, I would look for tire chains with square links or spikes to them, which actually dig into the ice and snow a little bit better for those heavier conditions.The rollers wrap around this steel cable here, and have a low profile design to them, which does provide a much smoother ride in the light snow. These are SAE Class S chains, meaning they're designed to work with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. They're very easy to install, and come with a reusable bag once you're finished using them. These tire chains are made from a heavy duty manganese nickel alloy, which is corrosion resistant. They have a diamond shaped pattern to them and these square links would provide excellent traction in both snow and ice as opposed to the roller styles, which are more for the light snow. And while they do provide, perhaps a smoother ride, this is really gonna get you where you need to go in that heavy duty weather.Two chains have a max speed rating of 30 MPH, can be used with either the rear or front wheel drives, and also come with a convenient carrying case so when you're finished using the chains and they're dried off, you can put in them inside, put them in your vehicle, and they're ready for next time.Today we'll be working with tire size 265/75R16s. Unlike other brands that we have this one has the included rubber tensioner that will keep tension on it and provide excellent traction in heavy snow conditions.
