These Titan Snow Tire chains feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern. They're going to provide you with more tire coverage which means more traction. The square links are going to give you excellent traction and stopping power on ice. Since they're smaller than your average links, they're going to be a lot smoother on the road. Most chains require a rubber adjuster or an additional part to help keep them tight and snug around the tire. The integrated adjuster eliminates the need. more

Today on this 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to show you the Glacier Snow Tire Chains, part number PW3027C. With this part number, you get two snow chains, one for each side of a truck. This is what the snow chains look like when they're installed on a tire. In this case, we're actually working with a tire size of 265 by 70 by 17. All right, let's go ahead and take a closer look at it. This is what's called a cross bar right here, and we'll go ahead see that it's actually a construction of cables, but it actually has coils wrapped around the cable itself. These will move around and shift as needed on a tire as well as to go ahead and get some grip on your snow and ice. Now, the cable design is actually used in the entire construction of the snow chain, so this is definitely designed for light duty or occasional use. more

Today well be using our 2009 Chevy Silverado for a test fit on our Glacier cable snow tire chains, part number pw3010c. The tire size we will be using on this truck is a 245/70-17. A few items to know about this particular product is that they are class S compatible and they are drive on and connect style. They also make the DOT specifications and they also can be used on front or rear wheel drive vehicles, in this case well be putting them on our rear wheel drive vehicle.Lets go ahead and begin our test fit. First you will lay the tire snow cable over the top of the tire. You need to note that there are right side and left side tire cables for this particular model. more
