Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Volvo XC90- Video

Today on our 2013 Volvo XC90, we'll be test fitting the Thule Crossroad roof rack system using part numbers THLB58 and TH450. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front bar onto the front of our roof. Now, the raised side rails do extend towards the front of the vehicle past the sunroof, but we're going to place the front bar behind the sunroof. With the bar in position, we can pop off the end caps and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the bar. We'll then hook it into the connection point and use the included tensioning tool to tighten down the bolts to secure the straps. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. With the front bar installed, we'll go ahead and place our rear bar onto the rear of our raised side rails. Now depending on where you place your rear bar will depend on what accessories you are installing. more
