Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Dodge Journey, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the RockyMounts Roof Rack System, which consists of Ouray Crossbars and Flagstaff Towers; parts numbers: RKY3056 and RKY3002.This roof rack system is great for all of your roof-mounted accessories, which may include bike racks and kayak carriers.Crossbars are aerodynamic, cut down on wind, noise and drag. To remove the end cap and you want to add channel-mounted accessories, you just push down on the weatherstrip.Towers come with a rubber-coating to help prevent from scratches and abrasions when in contact with your vehicle. Now a lock cores can be added to prevent theft and tampering, and are sold separately.The weight capacity of these roof rack is 165 pounds. I do recommend you check your owner's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that amount of weight. It does have a limited lifetime warranty and is very easy to install.Now I'm going to show you how to install it. What you want to do is you want to take your tower, make sure the open end of your strap is facing out, then slide it into your crossbar. more

If you take the end cap off, you have a removable weather strip for channel-mounted accessories. The legs come with a rubber coating to prevent scratches and abrasions on your vehicle. Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installation - 2016 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Journey, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack system for factory raised side rails, consisting of part numbers TH7502-TH7503. This also comes in black as part number TH7502B-TH7503B. The Thule Aeroblade Edge is a great roof rack. It has a nice factory look to it and can carry a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. It can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, and ski and snowboard carriers. The bars themselves have this rubber strip at the top and that, coupled with the aerodynamic shape of the bar, will cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. The endcaps are removable. You can see on the inside here you can actually use T-track accessories with this roof rack system. However, you are a little limited as far as usable space with the bars because the endcaps do take up quite a bit of that. The endcaps also have a knockout at the end which you can install a Thule lock core into so you can actually make your accessories as well as your roof rack keyed alike. Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2016 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Journey we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule AeroBlade Rapid Crossroad roof rack system. This is going to be for raised factory rails. We're going to be using part numbers THARB53 for the 53" aluminum AeroBlades, front and rear, and part number TH450R for the Rapid Crossroad foot packs. Now the bars are also available in all black. That's part number THARB53B. This roof rack system is going to be great for carrying bike racks, roof baskets, kayaks, and more. They have an AeroBlade design that gives you a quiet ride. more
