All right today on this 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee we are going to test part number TH9025, the Thule Apex floor bike carrier. A few things to know about this bicycle rack that you can use it with an inch and a quarter receiver hitch both class one and class two. However when you use it with a class one hitch, limited to carrying just two bicycles. This will also work with two-inch receiver hitches which includes baser and thats what we will be working with today. Well start off by installing our bicycle rack into the hitch. Well make sure the integrated hitch pin is secure and then we can tighten down the anti-rattle knob. more

Alright, a couple things about this bike rack is that it can work with 1-1/4 receiver hitches both Class I and Class II, and this will also work with a 2-inch receiver hitch with the included spacer and that's what we'll be working with today. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch then we'll install the hitch pin and clip. Then we'll unfold the bicycle rack and get some clearance measurements. Clearance of the bike rack to the bumper is going to be 8-1/2 inches, ground clearance at the back is going to be 17-1/2 inches. Now we'll go ahead and fold down the center post and check access to the back of the Jeep. more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test fitting part number A30901, the SportRack Two-Bike Hitch Mounted Bike Rack. Now to begin our test fit, we'll simply install the bike rack shank into the hitch using the included adaptor. With the hitch pin hole lined up, we'll go ahead and install our anti-rattle bolt which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Now we can go ahead and fold our platform down and open our cargo door. And as you can see, we can gain full access to the cargo area with this bike rack. Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, well be test fitting the Thule Apex 4-Bike carrier part number TH9025. Now to begin our test fit, well simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, well pull our integrated locking hitch pin to allow it to go over the collar of the hitch. Once it goes over the collar of the hitch, we can then let go of the locking hitch pin and slide the bike rack shank all the way into the hitch. Then after giving it a slight tug, well tighten the anti-rattle knob down at the back of the bike rack and thatll secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 18 inches and from the anti-rattle knob to the back of the bumper is 4 inches. more

Now, with our vehicle equipped with the 2 inch class 3 hitch, well use the included adapter with our back rack, then we can simply install the bike rack shank into the hitch, latch the hitch pinhole and using the integrated locking hitch pin, well allow it to slide into the hitch pinhole. After giving it a little tug to ensure that the hitch pin is seated, well tighten down the anti-rattle knob, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements, our ground clearance at the bike rack is 14 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 7 inches. Well now pull the hitch switch at the bottom of the bike rack mast to tilt our mast down and open the cargo door. We're going to go ahead and load it into the hitch, install the Anti-Rattle Colt and tighten it down using our 3/4" wrench. With our bike rack installed and secured, we're going to do a couple of the measurements from the lowest point of the bike rack to the floor is 17-1/2" from the closest point of the bike rack to the bumper is 5-1/2". Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on this 2012 Jeep Liberty, we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Vertex 4 bike carrier, part number Th9029. Our bike carrier is already assembled and ready for our 2-inch hitch that we'll be working with today. However, you can remove the adapter sleeve and we'll fit an 1 1/4 inch hitch also. Let's go ahead and install the bike rack onto our hitch. We'll go ahead and install the anti-radabull 00:00:24 and tighten it down. We'll go ahead and tighten down the anti-radabull with the 3/4 inch wrench, but you can also use the tool that's provided. Now with our bike carrier installed, we'll go ahead and use the top lever to extend the bike carrier arms. This is what our carrier will look like when it's loaded. more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty we will be test fitting the SoftRide Dura Parallelogram, product number SR26247. This bike rack will fit 2-inch hitches only. Our bike rack is already preassembled so we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Once we have the bike rack mounted into the hitch with the anti-rattle bolt snug, we'll go ahead and tighten that down. Swagman XTC4 Wheel Mount Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty we will be test fitting the Swagman XTC 4 Bike Rack for a 2-inch trailer hitches, product number S64665. With our bike rack already preassembled, we're going to go ahead and install it on the vehicle. With the shank installed, and the pin hole lined up we'll go ahead and install our anti-rattle bolt and security pin lock. We're going to go ahead and use a 7/8-inch wrench to tighten up the anti-rattle bolt. With our wreck secured, we're going to ahead and give you a couple of measurement. The measurement from the shank to the floor is 16-1/2 inches. more

Softride Dura Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today we're going to be doing a test fit of the SoftRide Dura Parallelogram Tilting 4-Bike Carrier, product number SR26247 on our 2011 Jeep Liberty. Let's go ahead and install the bike rack on the vehicle. With our bike rack slid into the hitch we'll go ahead and install our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down. Once we have the bolt tightened down we can install the lock. Now that our rack's secured to the vehicle let's go ahead and take a couple of measurements. From the bumper to the upper right of the bike rack is 9 inches, and from the lowest point of the bike rack to the ground is 17-1/2 inches. more

SportRack Escape 3 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Jeep Liberty- Video
Test fit of the Sport rack escape hitch mounted bike rack, part number 130403 on our 2011 jeep liberty. Now my bike rack is installed and my anti rattle pin is tightened down and safety pin installed. Lets go ahead and take a look at what our bike rack will look like when we access the rear cargo area. Well go ahead and pull the bike rack down now. As you can see theres plenty of clearance to get into the rear cargo area.As you can see the top support arm also collapses for travel without bikes or for storage. Lets go ahead and put our support arms back up and install a bike so we can see what it looks like. more
