Our factory jounce bumper here is significantly smaller than our Timbren, and that's due to this is really just to be there for support when our suspension is fully bottomed out, otherwise this doesn't do anything, it never actually provides any support under most of your normal travel.With our Timbren being much longer it's going to contact the axle much sooner than our factory jounce bumper would, so it can provide support throughout our suspension travel. Because you load it up heavier and you hit those larger bumps, go over those speed bumps and things, our Timbren is going to contact and provide you with that support to help smooth out your ride, and help support extremely heavy loads to take some of that stress off of your suspension.These are direct replacement for your factory jounce bumper. They're going to mount in the exact same location, so you just simply have to remove your old one here and install your new one. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer today. We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Air Lift LoadLifter, 7,500 air helper springs on our 2014 Ford F250. Now features are one thing, but how the truck is actually going to perform once you have the airbags installed is another. So before I put the airbags on, I put some weight in the truck and drove it around to feel it out. Now that I have the airbags on, I threw the same weight in there and I'm really curious to see how it's going to improve. So why don't we hop in the truck, run through the test scores and see how it does So the first thing that we're going to do is straighten out a little bit here and we're going to go over some bumps to see how our suspension feels.Let me get going here, hit our first couple of bumps and actually right away, I'm pretty impressed believe it or not, these airbags make the suspension feel like it's much more forgiving. more

Now the reason why you might be looking into airbags is because a lot of people use these trucks for a lot of different things. People use them for work, they may tow a trailer full of equipment, or they may have a bed full of gear that they're carrying. Or, you may just use it as your personal vehicle and you have a fifth wheel trailer, camper, or something else that you like to tow on the weekends to spend some time with your family.But once you start putting a lot of weight in the back of the bed, really the back end starts sagging down, we get a really rough ride, and it takes a toll on our truck. more

So, these are there to help alleviate a lot of the issues that happen whenever you try to tow with your vehicle, or you're putting a lot of strain on the backend of your vehicle. So, if you're towing a fifth wheel trailer or a camper on a hitch ball, or maybe just have a lot of stuff in your truck bed, it can cause a lot of squat and sag in that backend. Causes a lot of issues, makes the handling not so great.A lot of your breaks are usually in those front wheels, and as the back end of your vehicle comes down, the front end comes up and so that makes it so that you're not getting that same effect of braking. It's going to help a lot with the sway and the body roll feeling because it is going to stiffen up the suspension. And it's also going to help absorb a lot of bumps and the jarring feeling we get resonating through the seats. Now these are a custom fit for your 1999 through 2016 Ford F-250 and F-350. So these are going to go on the rear axle and they help to support a heavy load in your truck, so you don't have any worries with bottoming out or feeling like the suspension is really hitting aggressively. They help to re-level your load so your vehicle isn't sagging down like it was before. A lot of times, whenever you're carrying a heavy load or hauling a heavy trailer, it can push down on that back end of your vehicle, wears out your OEM suspension, prematurely causes issues with a rougher ride. And it also brings the front end of your vehicle up. more

Factory Vs Standard Duty Vs Heavy Duty Sumo Springs Comparison- Video

We measured about 700 pounds of tongue weight on it. He's pulled it in various situations with stock suspension, a set of standard duty SumoSprings, and a set of heavy-duty SumoSprings. more
